eye cream
I ordered a trial sample of hydroxatone for $7.95 about 3 weeks ago. Yesterday when I checked my bank account they had charged my account for $69.95!! I tried calling their 800 number and they have never called me back. I am wondering who I go to to pursue getting a refund??
Thank you, .

Refund
Well I got this and thought it would work. After 2 jars my eyes are still dark underneath. And they haven't sent
my refund after
calls to them. I'm tired, they should have sent my money.

scammed
ordered the Hydroxatone, a free trial offer, for $7, 75 S/H ask for my credit card for the $7.95. when i got a statement from my credit card there was 69.99 took off my card.I was furious since i DID NOT give them permission for this $69.99 offer, They tried to force me to buy this and my answer was ALWAYS NO! in fact i called and told them not to take my money from my card, Three weeks later i got a statement where it was took from my card.i talked to a Human about not wanting this high price offer.I am Furious, mad, angry that they did not get it that i did not want this product .I mean what part ofg NO do they not understand. This money they took from me hurt my financial situation since i am on Disability and am on a budget, trying to survive.I want them to pay for what they have done to me and my health. For thisd has me crying everyday trying to make ends meet with what little i draw on my Social Security Disability. This is a fraud to take someones money when you plainly tell them NO! to every product they try to sell you, and... the eye cream is a bag of lies.Patricia Jordan/[email protected]

Deceptive trade practices
I foolishly ordered a Hydroxatone product (AM/PM) after watching an infomercial which promised: Pay ONLY $6.98 packaging and handling. When I ordered the product, no costs were mentioned other than the $6.98. Both infomercial and ordering said that product could be returned within 30 days. The letter that arrived with the product advised that I would be billed $69.95.

I mailed the product back to Hydroxatone on May 25 (having until May 29th before my card would be charged), sending it Priority Mail "Signature Confirmation". I then called Hydroxatone and spoke with Marcus, x763 to inform Hydroxatone that the product was enroute. He asked for my pymt ID: I told him I only had the Postal Service's signure confirmation number. He took that number and the call ended.

Then, I called back with a question and asked to speak with a supervisor. Bobby, x798, claimed to be a "Sr. Floor Representative, and told me that I should have been given a payment ID #. Without that number, he said the package I sent would be returned unopened. Then, he turned on the snake oil salesmanship and cut me a "deal". He would cancel the original $69.95, claim me as a relative, and send me a new product for $45.

This morning I spoke to two MORE "Sr. Floor Rep". When I started talking about the complaints on this board, Jakyyae, x758, immediately told me that all billing would be cancelled. We'll see.

NEVER TAKE "NO" FROM SOMEONE WHO LACKS THE POWER TO SAY
"YES".

Deceptive Advertising/Scam
This company advertises their product (under eye treatment) on tv as a free trial offer/no obligation otherwise for the cost of $6.95 for the shipping and handling. In my case, they sent me three jars of their under eye treatment with an invoice for $209.85. I have tried to contact them by email (customer service) and writing letters to try to return the stuff to them, but all I get from them is threatening form letters requesting payment. The latest letter is a Notice of Bad Credit Assignment. I am luckier than most of the people I have read about who complained about this product because when I immediately realized what was happening I cancelled the credit card I used for the $6.95 charge so they were unable to charge me the $209.85. Listen up people - when you realize what has happened you can do this, too.

This has been a nightmare, and I am in the process of writing them another letter. And if I do not get satisfaction, I am turning them over to the Missouri Attorney General's office.

I say enough - too many people are getting scammed by this company in the same way as what happened to me.

Deceptive Advertising/Billing Practice
They offer a "risk-free trial" and send you the product. They then charge your credit card for the product, and no small fee either. They sent me a product in which I had to pay only the shipping then they charged me over $200 for the product they had already sent me!

They will automatically charge your credit card and they do not care about you. Do not buy anything from them!

illegal advertisement. free trial scam. beware of thei radio ads
BEWARE! I'm again hearing radio ads of the hydroxatone scam. unlike those of us who see it on the internet and can google, the complaints, people in their cars listening to the radio don't have that luxury. Hydroxatone takes FULL advantage of this fact. Here is how this is deceptive advertising, therefore, violating consumer protection laws.
-Hydroxatone lies and claims it is free to try to the product. This wording automatically leads consumers to think this is a free sample.
-They get your credit card number for "shipping", making the product NOT FREE to begin with
-they do NOT mention the fact that the real reason behind getting ur card number is to continually charge you without authorization.
-THIS IS THE BEST POINT-Hydroxatone claims that this is a "special announcement for women in your area". They claim that this is something special, that you can get what is made out to be a sample for free. The way it is worded leads consumers to believe that this is only happening where they are, so this must be something good and local. in fact, it is NOT special to your area. Their website offers this "free" oppurtunity to EVERYONE IN THE WORLD through their website. This is deliberate deceptive advertisement.
-Hydroxatone claims that "This is your last chance to try this product for free before it is sold nationally in stores."- In fact, there is NO evidence that Hydroxatone is EVER going to be sold in stores. The reason is that this product was made to be a free trial scam. Why would they EVER be sold in stores? THE WHOLE POINT IS TO TRICK YOU INTO HANDING OVER YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO CHARGE YOU WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION EVERY MONTH WITH OUTRAGEOUS INFLATED CHARGES! They would not be able to do this in stores, so this will actually NOT be sold in stores, therefore, this is deliberate false advertising again.
BEWARE! do NOT fall for their lies. if you do, be sure to record ur phone conversation of ur cancellation. there are numerous complaints filed against them, because even after u cancel, they relentlessly continue to charge. also, u need to give this evidence to ur bank or credit card co. then change ur numbers. if they send u out product after that, ur bank has proof u canceled! under united states law, u may consider it a gift. U DO NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR IT OR SEND IT BACK. remind hydroxatone and the collection agency of this law. it is illegal to harm ur credit score because u will not allow them to commit theft.

cancelled, still deducted from account
ordered trial of hydroxatone, was not satisfied with product. I called Bellezza Products, LLC.

Was told had to wait for next shipment to cancel. Was given an address and a number that needed to go on the return address. Was told to take to post office and mail return reciept requested.

Product didn 't arrive. Thought cancellation had taken place. In checking bank statement it showed that another $69.95 was deducted from my account.

Again contacted company, explained what had happened. Was told that I had to return product in order to cancel. I explained I could not return a product that I did not receive.
