Retail Installment Sale Contract has wrong monthly payment.
This is an opportunity for Cocoa Hyundai, Inc., and Hyundai Motor Finance to make right a wrong. My wife (age 80) has a memory problem, and I (age 83) have a hearing problem. We have no guarantee of life tomorrow, let alone an additional 6 years to pay-off a loan. We told the salesman that we have bad credit. Therefore, we asked about buying a used vehicle and, based on our income, we could possibly afford a monthly payment of less than $200.00. Various lenders apparently either immediately declined to offer credit, or delayed a decision. (i.e., AmeriCredit’s denial was dated about one month later). As such, a vehicle should not be released to any potential buyer pending approval of credit. In my opinion, the sales person apparently used undue influence to intimidate us to purchase a new vehicle. The salesman forced us to take immediate possession of the new vehicle in an apparent attempt to validate the sale despite pending approval by Hyundai Motor Finance, an apparent lender of last resort. Later at home, I reviewed the purported Retail Installment Sale Contract, and I realized that Cocoa Hyundai, Inc., arranged our payments to be more than $300 per month! When I immediately contacted the salesman, his excuse was that you could not take back the new vehicle because it was driven off the lot. That excuse is ridiculous because, pursuant to the Retail Buyer’s Order, subsection Financing Negotiation / Approval, if credit were rejected by any lender (i.e., Hyundai Motor Finance), then the RSIC would be void, and certainly Cocoa Hyundai, Inc., would have required return of the new vehicle. In-other-words, as a result of Cocoa Hyundai’s apparently negligent procurement of financing (the additional $120 payment per month), then the RSIC is void, and Cocoa Hyundai is absolutely required to take title and possession of the vehicle. I have not received contact from Hyundai Motor Finance about my concerns. Rather than working with me to resolve the issues, instead, Cocoa Hyundai’s attorney denied my claims. Meanwhile, my employment has been reduced by 30%. During the original sale, the salesman described a so-called "walk-away" provision such that a person like myself who sustained an economic loss (i.e., reduction of hours, lay-off, etc.) may simply return the vehicle. However, the "hoops" and "loopholes" make it impossible to do. A good public relations policy would be for Cocoa Hyundai, Inc., and Hyundai Motor Finance to resolve my concerns. They have my contact information.

Repair with used parts
Bought a Hyundai 2010 Santa Fe. on June30 2010.This was a company rep's car with 12000 miles, but it was sold as new. I thought that all the bug's would be out of it since a rep. was driving it, how wrong I was. A week after we got it, I knew that there was something wrong.Had it in for the transmission 3 time's and then on 10/11/2010 they had to change the engine. After 2 weeks I got the car back. It now has a short block and used head's. This is not what I paid for.I paid for new not used.Hyundai say's T.S. They keep their repair record's off the book's since they do not give you paper work every time you take it in or they give you incomplete paper word. I have now learned to ask for paper's on everything.

Manhandeling of a car Byer at Hyundai Showroom
I went to buy a Hyundai Santro GLS car at Hyundai showroom at Rohtak, Haryana on 17th Nov 2010. The Manager of the showroom called us in the evening for the delivery of the car which was finally ready at 8 pm, i requested him that i would take the delivery next day morning after proper checks as it was too dark.
He started misbehaving and using foul language and finally snached the draft of Rs 3.7 Laks from me and forced me to take the delivery of the car, he also denied to give me the bill of LCD TV offered with the car.
I called up the police and matter finally settled on 19th Nov when i had to approach SP Rohtak.
I am attaching the police complaint here (written in Hindi Language) written by me aganist the showroom manager. The complaint itself tells the full story of the harassment of a customer at Hyundai Showroom.

Cant believe how bad Hyundai's service got
Bought a new I20 in August. All going well until September when driver seat started squeaking. Took car to dealer on 25 Sept. They phoned at 14:00 to say car is ready. Only when I arrived did they say car not fixed, the seatrails must be ordered from Korea. Four weeks later it finally arrived. Book car in for 30 Oct to fix. At 14:00 received call to say parts were wrong, have to re order from Korea. Spoke to Service Manager - I suggested that they take the parts from another car to fix mine as one wouldnt expect to pay so much money and wait have such problems. He would have spoken to the Dealer Manager and let me know. Well, a week later still no news from them, in fact I phone TWICE during the week to get updates. Everytime the same story - I will phone you back. Cant believe how BAD Hyundai's service got...nice car, Exceptionally poor service.
