Failed to honor agreement
Just a warning to anyone looking to buy a new Hyundai in Florida. I spent 4 days arranging a new car purchase with Crown Hyundai of St. Petersburg, FL. This dealer is about 60 miles north of my home. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle, they refused to honor several of their key commitments. They would not honor terms related to my trade-in (which was being conducted through a third party dealer) and they jacked the finance interest rate up almost 2 percentage points (promised 4.5%, actual they had set up was 6.24%). I did not find out about the interest rate change until we were almost done signing documents - just the loan document was left.

We walked out; Something I am sure they did not expect. I bought my Hyundai the next day from a reputable dealer in Punta Gorda, FL, at a much lower interest rate (4.90%).

My Complaint: Hyundai service mechanics have no regard for cleanliness when working on the customers car. When my new 2007 Santa fe was delivered to me from PLANET HYUNDAI it had dirty footprints and handprints on the carpet and upholstery. This was done during new car prep as they weren't there when I selected the car from the storage lot. In June 2009 I brought my clean SanteFe to UNITED HYUNDAI for minor service: it was returned to me with dirty footprints and handprints. While I was waiting for my Santa- Fe to be serviced a bright and courteous salesman showed me a new Genesis. I was impressed. But after I picked up my SanteFe all I could think of was dirty hand and footprints all over a new Genesis. Wake up hyundai, your cars are terrific but your mechanics are dirty.
I'll have this in mind when I shop for my next new car.

تحيه طيبه وبعد.



لقد قمت بشراء سيارة ماركة هيوندي فيرنا موديل 2009 رقم موتور 129913 ورقم الشاسيه 518181 وقد استلمت السيارة يوم 16/6/2009 ولم تعمل السيارة سوي 435 كم واذ افاجأ باني افقد السيطره علي السيارة وتتجه السيارة من تلقاء نفسها بالاتجاه الايمن غير انها مقتربة من الارض بصوره مبالغ فيهاعلما بانني قد طلبت تجهيزها بالغاز من قبل الشركه ولم اقم بتعبئه الاسطوانه حتي الان طبقا لتعليمات الشركه.



فاتجهت الي مركز الصيانه المعتمد بالطريق الصحروي يوم الاحد 21-6-2009 حتي اجد حل وكان ذلك في الساعه الثامنه صباحا وانتظرت دوري وكنت رقم252 واستلموا مني السياره لاصلاحها وبعد مرور اكثر من 7 ساعات استلمت السيارة وعند الخروج لتجربتها وجدت نفس العطل.



فعدت مره اخري للمسؤل عن اصلاح السياره لاجد حل فقام ببعض اعمال الصيانه وقال لي تم اصلاح موضوع الاتجاه من تلقاء نفسها للجانب الايمن اما موضوع ان السياره مائله الي الارض بصوره ملحوظه فقد نصحني بان اقوم برفعها في خارج مركز الصيانه باستخدام قطع غيار من الخارج. فتعجبت وقبلت الوضع علي ذلك.



ولكني عندما خرجت من المركز فوجئت بالسياره كما هيا لا يوجد جديد فرجعت اليهم من جديد وانا في قمه الاستياء والضيق من سوء المعامله و سوء الاهتمام بالعملاء وقد كرهت السياره التي لم استخدمها سوي ايام معدوده وطالبت مقابله مديري خدمه العملاء م/ابراهيم مصطفي و م/ هاني مصطفي ولكن لم استطع الوصول اليهم حيث ان لديه اجتماع في وقت خدمه العملاء .



وهذه المره نصحني احد المسؤلين عن الصيانه بتغير كاوتش السياره حيث انه نوعيه رديئه ماركه نسر (مع العلم بانه المسلم مع السياره) وان اشتري ماركه مستورده مثل التي يستخدمونها مع السيارات الملاكي

(فتسألت كل السيارت تحمل علامه هيونداي العالميه ) وتحت رقابه جوده واحده بغض النظر عن الاستخدام التي تستخدم فيه السياره فاعتذر لي المسؤول بأنها صنعت في مصر وخاصة لمشروع احلال التاكسي للتوفير من سعرها .

اذا كانت شركه غبور اوتوا لا تستحق التوكيل ولا تحترم العلامه التجاريه الممنوحه لها لما هيا مستمره حتي الان.

هل حتي تسئ لاسم هيونداي العريق الذي تحترمه جميع الاسواق العالميه.



لقد كنت بصدد شراء سياره اخري لابني ماركه سوناتا ولكني كرهتها بسبب سوء خدمه ما بعد البيع التي لا تحافظ علي العميل بل تجعله يندم علي قرار استخدام سيارات هيونداي.



وحتي الان انا لا استطيع التحرك بسيارتي ولم اجد حل ماذا افعل.

هل اقوم باصلاح السياره خارج مراكز الخدمه كما نصحني احد المسؤولين عن الصيانه وبالتالي اخرج من الضمان الذي لا استفيد به (علما بانه من احد اهم شروط المشروع القومي انني لا اتعامل الا مع التوكيل لاصلاح سيارتي).

Even now I can not move my car I did not find a solution to what to do.

Can I do to repair the car out of service centers also advised me to one of the officials for the maintenance and, therefore, out of security which is not used by (note that it is one of the most important conditions for the national project, but I am not dealing with the agency to repair my car).

Damaged car delivered - Verna SX CRDi ABS
Worst experience with Hyundai (Advaith Hyundai, Bangalore):

I purchased Verna CRDI SX ABS. The AC stopped working on the 11th day from the delivery of the car.

The Service Manager showed that the AC compressor was damage and there is no external damage on the car’s body, NOT even a scratch.

The dealer also agreed with the fact that there is no external damage – not even a scratch on the body of the car. There is NO WAY that it met with an accident (even un-knowingly) but caused no scratch or external/body damage!! However the was not ready to accept that it’s the showroom/company’s responsibility to replace the defected part and unnecessary troubled me for 7 days.

Further to my complain mails I had meeting with The Service Manager - He was taking no grantee of what might have happened during that 75km run (the vehicle ran 75 km for registration purpose; please note: RTO is not more than 6-7 km from the showroom)

Further, he had no quality check proof done after the use of car by the dealer’s driver (after 75km run) before the car was delivered to me.

To my surprise, he (Service Manage) had the audacity to say that even if it is his guy at fault and if it was not checked/identified by me – I’m the one who will take the load of the damage.
He very continently says that the showroom’s fault will be passed on to the customer if it was not identified by the customer at the time of the delivery!!

Its not a second hand car that was buying from Hyundai that I should have taken a mechanic to check the car from inside before I take the delivery – but I guess I need to suggest my friends and colleagues to do so if they are buying a Hyundai car!!

I am surprised on how the dealer was not even taking the responsibly or even trying to investigate what might have gone wrong at their end! On top of that he had the audacity to say that as if I have ran over a human being or an animal which has caused the damage!!

I relied on Hyundai for its brand and reputation and I am astonished, on what I have got in return for the money I paid.

After many mails even till today I have still not received any explanation to how/when the damage took place and why the damaged car was given to me!!

The service station replaced the damaged AC Condenser and one more part after 10 days – however what is the guarantee that there is nothing else wrong with the car that will come up eventually!!

I’m surprised that such a used/damaged car was given to me.
I have paid 9.8 lack for this car, I have full rights to know what happened and why was a damaged car given to me?

service warranty
We had a fully covered warranted item go defective. When brought in to the service dept. it was apparent that there was an incentive to shift the defective item as owner fault. this did happen and we were forced to pay the service bill. There was absolutely no understanding on our behalf. As soon as this bill was paid our attempts to relook this infraction were handled as if we were second class citizens. I will never deal with Hyundai again. The 10 year 100, 00 mile warranty is just a sales gimmick . Hyundai has a long way to go with customer loyalty.

violence
I wish to complain of an add using kostya tzu (ex boxer) to sell a vehicle (santa fe?) where he and his children use agression to punch and destroy every thing while wearing boxing gloves! I find this "message" disturbing that they use children to punch and hit from the moment they wake up till they get to their destination in the said vehicle.

OBD sensor problems
I recently had transmission replaced on a 1998 Hyundai Sonata and am having problems with inspection because of OBD codes. I bought car to private inspection station and they said it had something to do with the trasmission being replaced recently. I am having problems wth Hyundai dealership taking responsibility for this problem.
I put over $3000.00 into car and feel this matter should be handle by dealership.

Bad service
I had given my Santro GLS for 2nd service in DSC Hyundai, Also some repainting work on the scratches on the back door and front/rear panel. They charged extra orbitantly above 10k INR, unfortunate that they have painted only few scratches on the door and other left out and delivered. On delivery interior is full of paints and door lock not working. No final checkup before delivery.

When asked they are saying we only charged for the back door and nothing else. Bad Service and False Commitment.

After sales service
Purchased a used 2003 Elantra from this dealer with 63K. When I mentioned the unusal action of the clutch I was told by the salesmen the clutch had been changed at 30K. After several months the cluth completely failed with a bill of $1200. The warranty sold with the vehicle did not cover this part and the business manager refused to pay any part of this bill. This stealer (opps) dealer is not honest and you should stay way
