FINANCED AT DIFFERENT PRICE THAN TOLD
I WENT TO OXMOOR HYUNDAI TO PURCHASE A VEHICLE. THE STICKER PRICE WAS 28, 500. WE WERE TOLD THERE WERE 2 REBATES FOR 2, 000 ON THE CAR WE WERE INTERESTED IN. WE PUT 11, 500 DOWN ON THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, WHEN I CALLED THE FINANCING COMPANY, IT IS TO GET THE PAYOFF AMOUNT 8 DAYS LATER IT WAS 30, 000! WHEN I SPOKE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE, THEY SAID WE WERE FINANCED AT 48, 000! WHEN I LOOKED AT MY TITLE APPLICATION IT IS BLANK IN THE TOTAL FOR VEHICLE LINE AND THE DOWN PAYMENT LINE. WHEN I CONTACTED OXMOOR HYUNDAI, THEY GAVE ME SOME GENERIC ANSWER, AND WONT GIVE ME ANYTHING WITH NUMBERS ON IT SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON. NOW THEY ARE NOT RETURNING MY CALLS(I HAVENT BEEN RUDE IN THE LEAST OTHER THAN ASKING WHAT IS GOING ON). I HAVE CONTACTED CUSTOMER RELATIONS BUT THEY SAID TO CONTACT THE DEALER, WHO IS AVOIDING ME. I DID SPEAK TO THE FINANCE GUY WHO OFFERED TO PUT ME IN A CHEAPER CAR WHICH WOULD BE ABOUT THE COST I WAS QUOTED ON THE CAR I HAVE NOW? I HAVE GOOD CREDIT, AND COULDVE WENT THROUGH MY CREDIT UNION HAD THEY BEEN HONEST. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON? WAS I ROBBED? AM I OUT 11, 500? HELLLPPP PLEASE!

Service Department
I am totally disappointed with the service department at Obrien in Fort Myers, FL. I brought my car to get 2 things done in my car. One was to replace the brake pads and the other to replace some kind of fuel valve. For what I understand was a very simple operation. Drop the car at 12:30PM, at that time I was told that it would be done that afternoon. They gave me a ride to my doctor's appointment since it appears that it was going to take longer. After the doctors appointment I returned to be told that it was going to be longer. At that time I told them that I had a meeting to attend. At that time I compromised and told them just to give me a ride to my office and that I would pick up the car at 8AM the next morning. Now please remember I was told that it was going to be done the previous day. I got there this morning and I was told that the car was not finished. I requested to see a supervisor and after waiting for a little while I received a call from the individual that took the car in. She told me that she had said that I was told that it was not going to be ready. It does not required a scientist to come to the conclusion "why was I there if was told that it was not going to be ready." Once again I requested to see the supervisor and had a talk with him and express my disatisfaction with the current events. I also told him that I needed my car now. I had another appointment/meeting that morning. On top of all this the only thing that was achieved was replacement of 4 brake pads and rotor resurface, which by the way it does not take that long. I was then charged almost $300.00 for a simple job. I believe that I am going to post this, and will call Fox News and let everyone know about your services. It is ironic that I was thinking in replacing my car for another Hyundai. There is no way in he... that I would deal with Fort Myers O'Brien again.

Sincerely,
Jeffry Montalvo

Rexdale Hyundai
I purchased a new Sante Fe 2009 with remote starter. Now having difficulty with the remote starter and the dealership refuses to honor the warranty stating that the current dealership had bought out the dealership (Plaza hyundai) and that the remote starter was not a hyundai remote starter. Although we have attempted to explain that we had no way of knowing this prior to the purchase of the car, the dealership refuses to assist in any way. We have called Toronto Hyundai head office for their assistance and they also indicate that can't help. The dealership is insisting that we should have checked that the remote started put in the car prior to pick up of the new car was a hyundai product and on this statement insist it's not their problem.
Feeling very frustrated and ripped off by this dealership and unfairly treated. In the meantime, still having problems with the starting of the car!!!

Mechanical failures
I am the owner of a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. With less than 69, 000 miles and three years of service critical components (Brake Rotors, Air Bags, Sway bar) have failed requiring over $2000 worth of repair with even more looming on the horizon. Hyundai USA disavowed any responsibility for the condition despite their self-proclaimed "Best Warranty in America."
