My situation is this: because a health problem I didn’t pay my Verizon bill on time, and they sent the account to I. C. System, Collection Department. On 09/18/2007 I received a letter from Mr. B. Brown, manager at ICS informing me that my Verizon account was turned over to them. After a couple of days I called ICS and spoke with Chris. He was very courteous and we set-up a payment plan.
The problem arose when Mr. Blake from ICS called me on 09/28/0227, yelling at me, talking over me, having a rude attitude, treating me like I was a criminal. He told me a few times that I did NOT have a payment plan with ICS. Also, he said that he will report to Verizon that I refuse to pay, and hung up the phone. I called back and talked to him again, and he had the same attitude.
On my third phone call to ICS, I spoke to Ms. Noelle. She was very, very nice and she told me that I DO HAVE A PAYMENT PLAN SET UP with them and as long as a make my payments and on time, I have nothing to worry about. This showed me that Mr. Blake had that attitude on purpose! This is not a professional behavior!
ICS should fire Mr. Blake immediately, because his attitude defames the company and its good employees. Beware of Mr. Blake!
