IBSN inc took an amount of $1000 (One Thousand Dollars) from me during August, 2007 for preparing my 2005 amended tax retrun documents - according to which they mentioned ithat I wias going to get a tax refund amount of $5000 (Five Thousand Dollars). And so they charged me $1000 based on that anticipated refund amount wit the agreement that in case my claim is rejected by US Tax department, they will keep $100 and refund me the remaining amount of $900. And they sent me the prepared tax refund documents only after I made the full payment of $1000 to them (and I did that because I trusted their words).

However, after about 3 months from the date of submitting the documents to tax department, I came to know that my case has been handed over to the "Taxpayers Advocate" division. And after it was scrutinized by them, they rejected my amended refund claim because of lack of evidence documents. Immediately I contacted IBSN and informed them about the rejection of my claim and also provided them the taxpayer's advocate case number details for my file so as to enable them to verify and confirm about the rejection from their end. After that initially IBSN have been telling me (by email - I have all the email evidences) that they would arrange for the refund after getting the proper approval from their concerend authority. But they never kept their words and since then I have been chasing them and they kept on giving me false promises and it's about 3 years past now and they are still not showing any willingness of refunding my money. They have even stopped responding to my emails and phones. And by doing that, they kept me mentally agonized and harassed since past 3 years - which adversely affected my health condition.

So please help me get my money refunded from them with full interest for the past 3 years. I also want financial compensation for the mental harrassment and agony which they made me to go through for past 3 years which has affected my health. This is nothing but a clear case of "cheat & Fraud" and I deserve and want full justice. So please help me.

IBSN is surely not trust worthy . Their response is very poor after getting the money. I paid $300 on the 1st week of Feb to IBSN and till now my taxes has not filed.

I was given a good refund estimate by IBSN and was asked $300 to get the PDF from them. After paying $300 IBSN sent me the PDF but the PDF was estimated in a wrong way. I had asked them to correct it and they long took time to correct it. After getting the revised PDF I found that estimates are now gone down and also it was mentioned in the PDF that the customer has evidence to support the itemized deduction. The IBSN never asked me whether or not I have the written evidence to support the itemized deduction. On talking to IBSN associate, he said that IBSN will take care of any query/issue in case an IRS ask for the evidence and I can file the itemized deduction by having trust on IBSN. I asked IBSN associate to drop me an email mentioning that IBSN will take care of any issue if any query comes but then now IBSN is denying to give any written assurance.

Since IBSN is not giving any written assurance, I have then decided to go for Standard deduction. I don't think it requires $300 to file standard deduction. The other companies (like turbotax) are asking only $40 for filing standard deduction. I have asked IBSN to take $40 to file my standard deduction but return my remaining money ($260) but I see no response from a long time. I have even escalated the matter but no respose. This is too ridiculous.

You guys are cheating with your customers. It been almost a month now that I paid money and my taxes are not even filed and you are not even returning my money!!!

IBSN has not refunded the tax preparation fees that I had paid them. Its been 7 months now and I have tried every possible way to communicating with them. Based on an initial estimation of my tax refund, I paid them a fee and after I got the detailed statement I found a number of issues with the initial estimation and the final refund was much lower. They were to refund the difference in fees of more than $200 but they have never paid it back in spite of repeated follow up with them.

These guys are complete cheats and and i would like to advise everyone to stay away from them as far as possible.
