service not received
Hi,
My file no is R62333 . I found that your computation is based on initial tax summary. I was sent additional information that you missed bank amortization and expenses at clients. Then I was send a revised tax summary. But the file you have sent is as per original tax summary. Requested to prepare return revised tax summary. But never received any response from you. I already paid the required amount. There is lot of prompt ness before I paid the amount. After I paid the amount there is no response from these people.

Tax returns filed incorrectly
This a completely unprofessional company reliant on manipulating your tax estimates. Do not get sucked in for they will promise high estimated returns; They will lure you into getting more returns than other companies might suggest. They also charge a high upfront fee. There is no process to refund you in case of any goof up from their side...and a goof up is something that you would come to expect. No sane person would commit filing tax returns from them after reading so many complaints about them on the web, unless you want to jeopardize your prospects of getting a GC. Please AVOID AT ALL COSTS...

No Refund
Hi,
I filed my taxes with IBSN last year and I was charged a fee for a servce (ITIN application for 2 dependants ) that was never provided. [File number is m55684] I had to do the ITIN forms myself. When I asked for a refund, I was told it was busy tax season and they would definitely refund it later. I waited. And nothing happened. I called several times during and post the tax season but there was just one answer - "we will do it soon". I was even asked to write an email to a senior member of the IBSN group which I did - but as I could have expected there was no response.
Now it is tax season again and IBSN tells me that I will get my refund amount adjusted in this year fee. That means that I need to buy service from them again in order to get my fee refunded. If I decide to not go with IBSN - they just keep my money. This is just not fair.
With all respect, Mr Laxmi Palaypu - If you deem your company to be fair your customers, I would ask for the fee refund to be made to me regardless of my decsion to continue with IBSN.

Referral Bonus
I refered one of my friends to IBSN. As per their referal policy, there is referal bonus for every referal but even after one year they have not paid me for referal. There is no one in IBSN who respond to my quiries.
It looks like they dont want to pay referal bonus so dont refer them.

Refund Excess Amount
Hi,
These lines are written from utmost frustration because of the bahaviour of IBSN staff.
I was duped by IBSN while filing my taxes and I ended up paying an excess amount of 309$. The support staff are the worst people on this earth. After calling them and speaking to them n number of times, they gave me an email id of Nanda kumar, which was incorrect. I got the mail id from this website and mailed them and hoping to see a reply soon. One of my friends referred me to IBSN and I have decided not to file my taxes again with IBSN and will surely vouch against filing with IBSN.

Excess Fees Refund not paid
IBSN completed my Tax planning on 2/23/2009 and showed me refund of $ 1, 707.00 and asked me to pay $384.96 for that. So I paid the fees 3/9/2009 and then I realised that IBSN was asking me to invest $10000 in IRA and then only I will get the refund of $1707.00. I didn't have that much money so I decided to file the tax without IBSN planning. IBSN charged me $85.00 for that and so IBSN has to pay $299 back to me. They completed my file on 4/7/2009 and said they will refund excess fees within 15 days.
So far I have used all the sources My Messages (IBSN Web Site), Notify Esclated Issues (IBSN Web Site) and emails to [email protected], [email protected]; [email protected], [email protected] for doing followups. But I am getting same type of answers from IBSN and everytime they are giving new date to me and till now I have received the excess fees paid by me.
I don't know why IBSN is taking so much time for refunding $299.00 only and they didn't even bother about customer loyality and satisfaction.
If a customer is getting such type of responses from IBSN, they will not believe IBSN and nobody will file tax with them. |

Inadequate Service
I had engaged IBSN taxto file my tax returns. While selling the services, I was told that I will only need to upload my input documents and IBSN will handle everything else thereon. The services sought were extension of return filing date in US, applying for ITIN numbers for wife and kids and filing of IRS and State Return. They charged me USD 275. Now they have handed inaccurate documents to me and have advised me to pursue ITIN aplication and filing of return with IRS, State on my own. Any attempt to correct documents or discuss issues is in vain since the contact numbers provided by them on their site 866-892-5035 lead to only voice mail boxes for all menu options and 040-32436938 number gives an out of service message. All messages that I have posted on their site for escalation of this issue have been unattended in last 3 days while the deadline for filing returns is fast approaching. Their representative last called me 3 days ago and promised for an update within 1 hour but after 72 hours there is no message posted on their site, no call or voice mail nor any email. Besides they have asked me to upload lot of my personal documents and there is no option where I can remove / destroy those documents which is leading to another concern of safety of my personal information.
Apart from this message, I will puruse other greivance redressal mechanisms.

Never file through IBSN
Never Never file with IBSN. They would sell the services on the pretext of being an Indian company who can handle it more effectively and know the rules.
They dont know anything and dont have a CPA on the team.
They hire low cost laborers in Hyderabad paying them meagre amount who even cant talk properly.
They would ask you some question and prepare the tax return. After they have given the quote, they would start pushing for payments and once you have made the same, forget about any service from them.
In my friend's case, they filed late and he had to suffer penalties and also since the query came, he would be affected in the process of Green card.
In my case, they did a double tax filing and when I complained there was no response.
It has been 6 months since I have been following my case and there is no response from their side.
They mailed me a no to call and that is an Invalid no.
When I asked them aout refunding the money, they turned a deaf ear to the same and no communication.
My another friend had a case where they promised him to get more and when the enquiry came they didnt respond to his mails, calls even when he has paid for 7 years service (You wont believe but they charge extra money for representing you).
So my suggestion / request is never get your tax refund filed from IBSN.

Very Bad service, may be fraud
I have waited on my refund of fees for about 6 months now.
I have written 13 times on their website for the same. They will reply me on their website after a month or so and tell that it will refunded soon. I also emailed many times to laxmi who is reply on this site for complains and asking to contact him for any issues with ibsn but so far he hadn't reply any of my emails. After many tries I have contacted their representative at last and he mentioned that I will get my refund by 24 th July for sure. And till date no refund..

FRAUD COMPANY
They are very big Fraud company. Initially they will show you a huge teax return amount & will ask for a processing fee based on that amount. But once you submit the processing fee, they will come back saying you are not eligible for the prevoiusly told amount & they will tell you a much smaller amount . But they don't return the excess money they have taken from you as processing fee.<br />
In my case, I was initially told that i will get $3900 as refund & charged $435.23 as processing fee. Once I gave the money, they informed that i will get $1300 as tax refund & they promoised to return $300 from processing fee. Since then it is 3 month over but I haven't received the money yet . I have called them several times but nothing worked. They don't even respond to mails .
