I sent 8 phones to them and have not rececived a check all sent from September 2009 to October 2009. It's now 2011 and still no check.

I thought I would get some extra cash to pay some bills or put towards my car so I found ibuyphones.com. I was wrong. I sent the phones November 12 2009 and they didn't receive it until January 18 2010. I had sent them a phone that was never used (matrix), a blackberry, and a blackjack phone. It said I would receive over $125 for everything. I didn't use them anymore as I switched providers, so I figured, $125 is $125 I didn't have. WELL...supposedly the blackberry had a messed up memory card reader (which I never used so how could it be messed up) and everything else was "processing." I just sent them another email requesting that the phones be sent back to me. I also stated that the company would be reported. However, I have no idea where the address is...

ibuyphones is nothing but a scam. This company has been reported to several law enforcement agencies and even the Attorney General Office. Without proper investigation from the US Postal Service, FBI, and Police Departments Mr. Lonnie Johnson and ibuyphones will continue to operate and believe they are above the law. Theif of this kind is no different from stealing from Walmart or any other store and should be treated the same way. I urge everyone they scamed to bring a lawsuit against him personally and the company. I also urge everyone to contact the Police in Orange, CA and their home town. I am putting together a letter to the US Postal service alerting them that they are using them as well to committ these crimes using postal barcode # endicia.com 071V00631551. I think it would be a good ideal for everyone to contact that website as well. Eventually if enough people speak out against this and not be embrassed about the scame we can bring justice against Mr. Johnson. After reading some of the other complaints, all I can say is I hope that there is a god who will send the proprietor(s) of iBuyPhones to eternal hell.

Recieved 8x10 envelope to send my two phones together to vender. Looked up my account on the site and found only one of the two phones listed as recieved.This was an LG sent together with a Motorola V60 series phone on October 22, 2009.After numerous e-mails, no response.Also tried phone number-found it was no good as it was for a doctor's office.As far as I'm concerned, this man is a crook, thief, and a lier who does not keep his word and hides behind his website.
