Nonpayment
I sent ibuyphones.com 8 phones 4 months ago. They have received my phones, but I haven't received my money. I have sent them 5 emails asking them to reply to me. They have not! This site is a scam. I didn't do any homework before I sent my phones in, I will in the future!

Non Payment
In September of 2010, I sent in FIVE phones to Ibuyphones.com. They emailed me a few times reminding me to send in my phones and that they “were ready to pay”! The emails stop coming in so I know that they have received my phones. It is now December and after COUNTLESS emails to them I have not had any response or compensation. My account still shows no phones received. PLEASE find a reputable company if you are in the market for selling your cell phones. This company made a good website to entice you to send in your phones so they can straight out STEAL them! I am so disappointed by this and I would hate for this to happen to someone else. PLEASE DO NOT send these people your cell phones.

No Repsonse
I mailed them 2 phones with the shipping label they gave me well over a month ago. The website is still saying they haven't received it. I have tried emailing 2 times with detailed information for them to advise. Still haven't heard anything.

Scammer
I sent 5 phones to this company and its been over 2 months with no reply and saying that they received the phones. I emailed this company 3 times asking to send a check or to please return my phones. If you have sent a phone to this company, and you have the serial numbers still for the phones you sent or even if you had a contact for these phones, contact the service provider or your local police and report them as STOLEN. They can track this person or person's responsible. I feel that this company is a SCAM and that I have no trust in cash for cell phones biz anymore. The only company I can trust is Gazelle.com for cash for cell programs but this one is one of the worst.

Non-Payment For Cell Phones
I sent them two phones which they received on 7-7-2010. I emailed the company numerous times as well as Lonnie Jones, no response. So, the district attorney of Orange County is looking into it now and I directed him to this site and the BBB site to see the numerous complaints.

Fraud, Theifs
I sent in over 8 phones to them and they owe me an outstanding amount of over $120.00. every time i log into my account on their website online it shows all the phones i sent, how much they owe me, when they received the phones, and etc, . I look at the information about each phone and it says "payment still being processed". They have received the phones since September 2009, and it is already July 2010 almost August soon it will be a year since i sent those phones. Has anyone else had trouble with this company and if so did you get your problem solved and how did you do it, and can you please tell me what i can do. and please do not tell me to contact the customer service, because i have emailed them a billion times, and i have emailed that guy "Lonnie" at his own personal email and i am still yet to receive a response from them.

Nonpayment/No Response
Per their website the timeframe in which a 'value' determination will be made is 30 days. As of today it has been 40+
I have sent multiple emails to no avail.
Lonnie...I would appreciate and expect decent customer service...please advise.

Rip off
I sent my phone to this company. They were supposed to pay me $50.00 upone receipt of the phone. It has been well over three months, they have my phone, but I don't have my money!!!

iBuyPhones.com IS A SCAM
iBuyPhones.com is a SCAM!!! on their website they indicated they received my BlackBerry Curve on Dec 29, 2009. But they never sent me my money I have emailed the company almost every day and they never respond to my emails. So if you are thinking about selling your old cell phone DONT USE iBuyPhone.com I don't know how this company is still in business they LIE.

Non Payment
This company is fraudulently stealing customer phones with promise to pay a quoted fee. Not only are they using the US Postal Service but the Internet as well. I have 2 tracking numbers for packages sent that they received # 55191 and 55200. They have done this on several occasions to more than myself. I think it is time the FBI get involved to shut this company down. The owner Lonnie Johnson should repay everyone restitution and receive prision time. These crimes go back as far as 2008 I believe. He is not only making a mockery of the Police Departments nation wide but the US Postal Service and Attorney General Office who is failing to respond to numerous complaints. In this time of recession it should not be tolerated that crimes like these go unpunished. I sincerely hope this will get the attention of everyone I mentioned in this email. The phones I sent in where 1 month old, I terminated the service. I am willing to cooperate any way possible to be justice to all he scamed. I want nothing more than my phones and/or payment and to see Mr. Lonnie Johnson arrested and his company shut down
