I had some refunds that did not post to my Barclays account after two months, even though I was informed by Barclays that sometimes refunds take longer, but 2 months beyond what any refund should take. I called Barclays again to inform them yet again, that my refund amount hasnt been posted. After talking with the Americain call center, I was wished luck dealing with the dispute department. (and for good reason) after being transferred over to the philipines, and having the person not only mess up the name of the credit card.. but did not even want to listen to my problem, just to follow a script..the script was outside his realm and he got frustrated and put me on hold for 15-20 mins, so i hungup, called again, spoke with the American call center again and asked them if it is possible to talk with an american or someone that can speak english as good as an american AND with the effort to actually want to help out a customer?? (WOW)
So after being informed that no americans work on disputes and that all disputes are handled over in the philipines, it did not make me feel secure about my card information, and having to argue about a simple refund, one that didnt get posted, was horrible! I had all the proof which was faxed over, i had the refund receipt dated April 26. The following day, the amount mysterious appeared, with a transaction date of may 21 and posted day of the day I called. I'm still not sure what goes on at Barclays but watch out if you see their adverts
