Undue charges on Credit cards
I paid Rs.4630 against the statement for the month of Oct 06 on 1st Nov 06 Vide cheque no 337547 which got credited to your banks account on 6th Nov 06 as per my saving bank statement. Even after this I got statement for the month of Nov 06 stating this amount as balance. To add to the insult you have charged Rs.1630.31 as interest on this amount and late payment fee+service tax as 536. I have send so many mails to the customer care dept on this anomaly & requested to correct the accounts but to my surprise there was no response from them & the same continued till date. Getting no response from you, I decided to stop all transactions on these credit cards from April 07. Ultimately I lodged complaint in this month about non credit of the amount.On 17th July 07 I got reply from you that the amount is credited to your bank account on 17th July 07. How this can happen? The same cheque can not be deposited twice.Even after this your people are asking me to pay Rs.11492.12 instead of correcting account/statements from the month of Nov 06.I called them to send their representative to check the documents available with me. But instead of doing this they just call me for undue payment. This is a mental torture. If the things are not settled within 7 days, I do not have any other option but to approach consumer court to settle the issue.

Seriously disappointed with ICICI bank's services
I am really helpless with ICICI bank's services. To start with I will explain a recent scenario:
. For about last one year ICICI is flashing a message on online trading site to re-submit documents (address, phone ID and pp site photo etc.) for DMAT account as these details had been lost during the 26/07 rain in Mumbai.
. They were giving due dates and kept on extending that. Also giving option to send their executives to collect documents from customer's premises.
. As messages were flashing, I fixed datetime for documents collection. I fixed it through call center and through on online trading site also. I scheduled it multiple times.
. Executives never turned up. Message stopped flashing in the site for last 2/3 months. OUt of curiosity, I called up call center and asked about the account deactivation and got to know from the gentleman that online trading account will not be suspended just like that. Happy I was!
. On July 10, at around 9 pm I logged onto the site to apply for an attractive IPO (Everonn systems) and my account was deactivated. Next day (1 pm) was the last date for IPO. I called up call center to know that "Account will be suspended at least for a week after receiving the documents. These documents will be sent to NSDL for verification and then only accounts will be activated, alternatively I can go to bank branch and apply for IPO." Cool... I raised a request for document collection by executive.
But I was pretty much sure of ICICI staffs skill level. I called up again and happen to talk another executive to learn that "you cannot apply for this IPO by visiting bank branch even. However your request has been taken at priority level and within 48 hrs an executive will visit your place and then account will be activated."
Seeing conflicting views I asked to transfer the call to supervisor and response was "Supervisors are there till 8.30 pm only and its 9.30 pm.
Again called up at 10 pm to speak to supervisor and got response that "Supervisors are there till 9.30 pm only and you have to callup in the morning after 8.30 am.
Actually the first level contact fraternity in ICICI call center is so adamant that by all means they will NOT let you speak to supervisor unless customer is burring on the other side. And each call needs to start afresh and I observed that each call eats up around 30 mins (of time and money).
Morning again I called up and got to speak to a supervisor, It was like winning a war with the first level call center executive. I explained the entire scenario from start to end explaining the kind of losses I am incurring. Another picture came out. "An executive will collect paper by 4 pm. And immediately after receiving the documents your account will be activated. She gave me the name of the person (Mr Mahajan) who will visit and she said in case any problem I can call her up as she is the only supervisor" I told that reaching to supervisor is a nightmare task better she give me a call at 4 pm to know the status which she reluctantly accepted.
It was 2 pm and I had not received a call from Mr Mahajan (procedure is: executive will give a call and fix appointment and then visit the place)
I called up again, explained the situation and asked for that supervisor he said there are many supervisors and in my earlier call it might have gone to Mumbai call center where he cannot transfer.
Helplessly I waited for my clock to click magic time of 4 pm. I was damn sure that nothing is going to happen and it did not happen. I went to Thane(w) branch only to know that they don't KEEP the required form and as usual they promised to send an executive within 2 days.
On other side, from call center, my request was forwarded to Nagpur ! where I had to re-iterate my address in Thane. But this time after 2 days they were managed to send an executive from Ghatkopar branch. And I gave details for my wife's and my accounts.
Now, after 8/10 days of submission why the same original warning is flashed again ??? It's same as before warning - "Submit your DMAT account proof papers otherwise your account will be suspended".
I am really very much worried that the same cycle will have to be repeated.
Moral of writing such a bug story is:

This is not the isolated instance but this is the most frequent phenomenon at ICICI. In last 20 years I have not seen even a government institution working so casually. Indeed I would appreciate honest Thane Municipality officers who had delivered birth certificate for my son in a matter of 2/3 hrs!
I am having banking, DMAT & online trading accounts with ICICI for last 7/8 years. My wife is also having all these accounts with this bank. It would be really hard to recollect a single instance where ICICI said we will be delivering 'X' service by 'Y' date and that really happened. It has been a painful journey with ICICI. I will give a few examples below:
1. To clear an outstation check it took more than 2 months and I spent countless hrs talking to bank's call center personnel. Unfortunately, even at the highest level of escalation in the call center, all promises found to be false.
2. If they say PIN delivery will take 7 working days then I safely multiply it by the factor of 4. Same for every other services.
3. You would be surprised to know that I am struggling to get a internet banking PIN for my wife's account for last 3 months. Still I have not received the password. Indeed, I have stopped following it now.
4. Bank's irresponsible attitude is clear to the currier services as well. They deliver at their own luxury and they don't fear to proxy receiver's sign. It has happened with me and I brought into bank's notice.
5. Call center personnel are extremely difficult people and they are not trained about the banking rules and ICICI processes and they give contradictory information.
I have raised these concerns with ICICI from time to time but things don't seem to change. I understand that there's no way to compensate losses due to these people.

ICICI Lombard policy fraud!
An ICICI Lombard policy was attached on my credit card 4477 XXXX XXXX 8004 without my consent. I was charged 150Rs per month for 3 months which I was not aware of. When I asked for cancellation for this they told they will cancel the same. But this fraud people charged me Rs 3500 as cancellation fee. This is clearly a cheating case and when i ask them why they didn't told me earlier they said the representative might have told me or he must have forgot the same.
I haven't yet payed anything and now the due amount has reached 6.5k with all the late fees and interests.
I already raised a complaint at customer service still no use. They are not even ready to cancel my credit card.

Harassment and inconvenience caused by ICICI Bank!
This compliant I would like to aware all the consumer applied for the credit card with ICICI Bank. This is the incidence happened with me. And I want to Share with you all.
1. I December 2006 I received the call from ICICI Bank branch stating that I will get the free credit card from there bank because I had home loan from ICICI Bank and I regularly paid all the installment in time. After continuously receiving the call 3/4 days. I agree to fill up the form. Then the caller said the company representative will come and fill up the form & collect the document. But fortunately the representative not turns up to me to fill up the form. Then one day I meet an agent of the ICICI bank dealing with the credit card. I fill up the complete form and submitted all supporting documents.
In supporting document I submitted Electricity Bill for residence proof, pan card Photo ID Proof, My ICICI bank transaction slip for further verification but after submission of the entire document they rejected my application form because of some confidential reason. As per the manager’s explanation.
2. Then in the month of February I again I applied for the credit card in this month also I received the call from the bank itself and this time I am able to meet the company representative. Again I fill up the form this time company representative told me that your all document verification is already done. You received the call from the company itself so you need not to submit all the document but till I have given him all supporting document required ie PAN card Xerox, electricity bill Xerox, and salary slip Xerox. This time also the company rejected my application again for the confidential report. These are the two incidences happened with me. I want told you that both the time I applied after getting the calls from the bank itself. Then also in first application the I am able to know that the bank was not able to cross check the my residential address though I had given my ICICI bank transaction slip (which means that I had the saving account with the ICICI bank. Though the address is same for the application and the saving account.)
With all this thing I am not able to know If the bank is not giving the credit card to the consumer like me then why they harassed the consumer by making the call and saying that They are eligible for the credit card. This I am writing now because again I received the call from bank itself for the free credit card.

Poor service!

There are issues that I am facing through your bank, due to which it is causing me mentally disturbance. Here I am giving the issues as follows:
1. Credit Card Balance Transfer Problem (BT Ref No. 1505077331829)
May Month I asked the balance transfer from Credit Card No.4477 4636 4429 4007 for Rs.50, 000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only) and the credit limit for this card is Rs.56, 300/- but when I received the next month statement there is no entry regarding this balance transfer amount. I am holding one more credit card no. 377 0403 8414 8004 and the credit limit for this card is Rs.10,000/- only and when I received this month statement I was shocked to see that the balance transfer amount entry is given in this credit card statement with all your banking charges. As per your banking rules no one can get more than 80% of the credit limit as balance transfer but in the statement it is showing 5 times more balance transfer of the credit limit. How can that be possible? In this regard I had talk with your customer care help line, but they are not giving me the solution in regard this problem, every one takes the note of the problem and tells that they will have a talk with their higher authority and get back to me taking my contact number, but still I have not received any call from u r banking persons. I have a note of the persons too whom I had a talk and told them the issue and they noted and told that they will call but no response here I am giving you the details of few persons with whom I had talk are as follows: DEEPAK-BOMBAY on 13th June 2007 at 12.15 PM, SOWPNA-HYDERABAD on 13th June 2007 at 4.00 PM, GANESH- BOMBAY on 18th June 2007 at 12.00 Noon.
2. PERSONAL LOAN Problem (PL Ref No.LPCHE00010564363)
I got a preapproved personal loan call from your bank in reference of my Credit Card No.4477 4636 4429 4007 for Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) with 1% as Service Charge Plus Service Tax Extra, but when I received the loan amount I got only Rs.4,88,764/- with 2% Service Charge Plus Service Tax less the amount. In regards to this issue when I had a talk with u r customer care help line number no body is giving response in this regard. Even after this I have not received any documents in regards to loan repayment date and schedule. I have a track of persons who were behind this forgery of 1% Service Charge plus service taxes are as follows: SRIKANTH- SALES MANAGER LOANS from ALWARPET BRANCH - IVCH, CHENNAI. Dont care about Data Protection
I have a vehicle loan from ICICI Bank and recently I missed paying an installment as I did not make the transfer from one a/c to another in time. I have paid every previous 8-10 installment/EMI.
A ICICI Bank staffer calls up a few days later on my home phone number not my mobile, speaks to my mother and informs she has called as a loan amount was not paid - this is discussing my account to a 3rd person with no care in the world.
No privacy, no data protection and no sensitivity, she then calls me on the mobile and informs me she told my mother, I asked for the final settlement figure which she refused and said sorry, I told her I would be taking action as she has contravened the Data Protection, she says sorry you are becoming angry, please forget it - we are trying to help you!!!

Run Credit History with out customer notice
I am very surprised with the way ICICI bank works. A year back I was approved for a Home loan (after a lot of miscommunication) and the first amount was disbursed to the Builder about 6 months back. When the second disbursement amount came, the Bank said they need my latest Paystubs and Bank Statement as there is a lapse of 6 month period. I sent all my salary statements and very much to my surprise they ran my Credit History and found that I have a home loan here that was not on their account, as I bought the house only 3 months back here in US. I asked them a simple question why and How did they run my credit history with out my consent - and I asked the Bank Manager an explanation for this act and inspite of 5-6 emails I received no response from Sales Agent or the Bank Manager, and my Loan is on Hold now - the service sucks, the privacy laws are totally taken for granted. I am still waiting for a reply from the Branch.

Very poor customer service!
I am customer of ICICI Bank Ltd, Vikas Puri Branch, New Delhi, India since last 7 seven years and have most relationships like Banking, cards, demat and home loan with it. Despite having multiple relationships, they don't understand the importance and empathy a customer deserves.
I had made an online transfer of payment from my savings account on 2nd May 2007 to another visa account and in normal process it should reach in 3 working days. The amount from my account was deducted the same moment. After few days I checked with beneficiary (GE Cash Card) about the payment of Rs. 6000.00 made and they refused to have received any such payment and started charging me interest on outstanding amount.
I chased up ICICI Bank phone banking (near to getting worse) where the call centre agents based in Hyderabad are no more than robots looking and replying after seeing the computer in front of them. I lodged my complaint and they kept on transferring me from one officer to other till finally landed up with reply to write email.
I wrote email to them and they claimed that money was transferred on 3rd May whereas it did not reached beneficiary. Instead of them checking and chasing, they (their customer service representative Ramya) asked me to check with beneficiary. When I asked her to compensate me for the charges levied bay beneficiary it was outrightly denied saying that "it is not due to our fault".
Finally on 22nd May, she generated a service request which is pending and unresolved till now and god knows when will my money reach. I have escalated the matter to next hierarchical level to Mr. Anirudh Kamani, Head, Customer Service by sending an online complaint yesterday the 31st May 2007 and awaiting an acknowledgment.
By all means, ICICI Bank claiming to be largest private sector Bank is not caring for customer satisfaction and redressal of their complaints in the interest of customers.

ICICI - the worst bank in India
ICICI – THE WORST BANK IN THE HISTORY OF INDIA
I would request you to read right through till the end because this is one long email about the atrocities suffered by me from ICICI Bank over the last 2 and a half years.
Being rude is the biggest principle on which ICICI Bank survives. It all started with a credit card being sent to my Home address by ICICI without my consent. The biggest mistake I did ever in my life was to open the envelope and use the card. On further investigation I found out that such credit cards were sent very often to 3G employees because a 3rd Party agent named Kamal used to roam around 3G (Spectrum Towers – Malad). Nevertheless, it was my fault because I used the card.
ICICI’s mistake started somewhere I May 2005 or later when I called an ICICI BANK REPRESENTATIVE by the name of Kalpesh/Kailash (didn’t capture the last name at all) to blacklist my CC since I had lost the card).
The guy seemed helped but to my plight did not do anything but provide me with incorrect information. DID not suspend my card. Did not blacklist my credit card account. He also advised me that I had Rs 10000 outstanding on the a/c which I could pay anytime and there would be no further charges apart from the ones already there. I was a fool to believe him. I went to Delhi for business purposes and lost complete count of the matter (again my Fault) but when I came back I made all of the necessary payments as advised by an extremely rude person from ADVENTITY(the worst outsourcing process ever). Since it was a call from a collection agency I was scared and did exactly what was required because they ABUSED me over the phone. I wasn’t ever aware of any outstanding amount because it was a card sent fraudulently by ICICI and they never had my billing address so all the info and prints went to my office address which I wasn’t aware of. Anyways now that the payment was settled, and the advisors confirmed that on 28307777 I was a little relieved and then the ICICI non-sense started.
I started getting calls from ICICI bank and adventity advisors threatening me to make more payments stating that I had used the card more and paid less and there was supposedly phenomenal INTEREST RATES TO THE CARD they had sent me. All this kept happening and in November hell broke lose when my PARENTS (who are both Senior Citizens) were exposed to profanity over my landline. They contacted me and advised me to settle this dispute once and for all. At that point in time I did not even realize that this was happening from a Bank which is endorsed by people with such high dignity. I was contacted yet again by a lady advisor called Jyoti (pseudo name) who said that If I don’t pay Rs 2000 to them then they will take me to court. I didn’t have that kind of Money so what I told her was that I would give some cash in advance and the remaining by PDCs of 5000 each from April and just put forward one condition that it should be debited on 1st of each month beginning 01/04/2006. She immediately agreed and sent a man from ICICI to collect the details and cheques. All done and dusted, I thought that was the end of my miseries but ICICI (the worst bank ever) decided against that. In the beginning of June I faced the same problem but this time around I decided to get the issue resolved over the phone by speaking to customer services (Customer services is supposed to help the customer but ICICI customer services tortures the customer).
In December, I spoke to a so called Manager Priyanka Kokitkar (02267034180) who further escalated my matter to Nirav Parekh (02266430549)and then later to Navin Jain. All of them useless Manager and should be sacked because of the way they work. Disgusting to the core and no manners whatsoever (forget helping customer they kept promising call backs which never happened on time and just kept passing me from one department to the other.) I was extremely frustrated but I needed the matter resolved. Finally I man from ICICI (Mr. Pandey) came to my house one fine day in Jan and started demanding more Payments. When I refused stating that my total purchases from that card were a mere Rs 40000 odd and I had already paid ICICI more than Rs 55,000, he stated that I had to meet his Boss Mr Rakesh Sharma ( 02266493469 and mobile no -9867567608). The worst person I have met at any level in any organization. I went to the Andheri Branch Office of ICICI in JB Nagar on the 1st floor and waited for almost 25 minutes before Rakesh sharma could show up. He listened to me very patiently but after repeating myself over a million times by then I am sure he did not agree with me but promised to sort it out. I had already overpaid this Bank by a huge Margin but it never occurred to me that they were cheating me. Finally, Rakesh Sharma promised me a callback with a certain settlement amount. I was going to pay one more time but that was the only way out. I said fine. No callback came but in April Mr Harish (9892315659) who is representative of ICICI came to my doorstep threatening my parents and me for the money (which I never owed them). I blasted out of sleep and said thing to him in such a tone that he immediately called his Boss Mr. Ravi Bhosle (02266493649) who apologized to my Father for everything that had happened ad also confirmed that his SON Vineet Bhupendra Yadav (that I me) DID NOT OWE ICICI BANK A SINGLE PENNY and if there was something then ICICI SHOULD REVERSE ALL THE CHARGE AND PROVIDE ME WITH COMPENSATION FOR THE PROFANE LANGUAGE THAT MY FATHER WAS EXPOSED TO. Mr. Harish was still there and said that this was the last time that anyone was bothering me at home or on phone. They confirmed that they would send out a final zero balanced statement to confirm that I was finally relieved from the BANK. BOTH OF THOSE AGED MEN LIED BLATANTLY TO GET OUT OF THE SITUATION THEY WERE IN. LIES, RUDE BEHAVIOR, PROFANITY etc etc … this is what ICICI is all about. Don’t trust me…read on
In April 2007, ICICI debited my account by 14000 Rs towards this credit card which I lost 2 years back, when I called to complain and advise that this had happened everyone was EXTREMELY RUDE AND INANE to what was happening. As usual they kept referring me to this Rajesh Malviya (02266493495) person who apparently was the HEAD of these decisions at ICICI credit cards department. I spoke to that gentleman for quite some time in the evening. Initially he was very helpful in listening me out but as soon as it was 19:45 hrs he started to be rude and naïve to my problems and very categorically hinted that his office hours were getting over and he wanted to go home. At that time I even mentioned that I would take this to the newspapers and he replied stating that it was fine as no one could do anything to HIM and that was the time when I decided to escalate it to him Superiors there but he kept stating that he was the only one in ICICI at that post and he did not report into anyone (A BIG BLATANT LIE accompanied with a lot of rude character which is in the BLOOD of ICICI STAFF)
Rs 14000 gone from my account and no one seemed to do anything about it at all. Useless Customer services guided me to Credit Card department. Rajesh Malviya kept saying he will callback but he never did and it eventually died out.
But what happened yesterday has now shaken me to a level where not only will i take this matter wherever i have to but also get so many people looped on to this mail that one cannot imagine.it will start at 17;00 hrs today when i send it to 7000 employees in my company and ask each one of them who has an icici account or credit card to call up and cancel their accounts at the earliest so one can imagine what the call flow wioll be for the next 3-4 day in there baseles,useless and good for nothing call centre.
Yesterday i called on 02228307777 to check my available balance since my salary comes on 31st each month and i saw that icici had put a bar and debited rs 46472 on my account. I immediated called and spoke to someone called shrikant who did not even hear me carefully and said that managers at icici only callback after 24 hrs for issues like these and not only that he stated that this was something not extremely important. All the managers at icici were on calls because of the heavy call flow. I was irate so i yelled at shrikant and in less than 2 mins i had a manager named raja (extn – 4652) came online. I asked raja for his surname and he refused me the same. He said i will make it simple for you –there is only one service manager called raja (extn – 4652). We spoke and agreed on a few things, i asked him which manager is working last nite and he said phanindar (and refused to give me his/her extn no. Stating that no one in icici had that no.). Then a few minutes later he called me back last night and said that he had organized a callback from the credit team to call me back at sharp 08:30 am. A call which never came until i write this email.
My aim in life has now changed – i will ensure that everyone at icici bank who has interacted with me with regards to this one issue is dealt with in any way possible. I will bring as much bad name to this bank as never before. I will distribute a copy of my pamphlets in buildings, shops, offices and wherever it takes to ensure that people do not choose icici bank as an option.
I will be calling them right now and going to the malad branch opposite paradign building and starting my activity and take this up further in any way possible, unless they decide to refund all my money.
The names mentioned on the email are absolutely correct and i have also mentioned their mobile nos., landline nos, or office extensions as far as possible and as far as i remember because this has been a long issue.
I requested all the people marked on this mail to take this up further and join hands with me and taking action against icici in whichever way possible. Please also forward this mail to as many people as you can so that they are aware what icici is all about.

ICICI forged my signatures on application
Last 10 days has been absolutely nightmare for me, one of your ICICI credit card department employee has forged my signatures on application form to make a credit card sale. Over that they have the photo copy of my Citi Gold card with the credit limit of more than 4 lacs.
I was contacted by one of the ICICI executive last week again and requested for the photo copies for my Citi Gold card as they had lost my documents which I gave them last month for ICICI platinum card. Apparently he also had a good look at my CV number on the pretext of verifying my signatures. All my desperate moves to contact ICICI and inform the fraud ended in misery as all I got was assurance of call backs and no action.
Following are the detail of the ICICI staff I contacted with no assistance:
1. Pooja (ICICI sales)
2. Rajesh (ICICI sales)
3. Dnyanada (Cust service manager at Mumbai, desk phone# -022 66450969)
4. Padma (TL at credit card verification department)
5. Suresh (Manager at ICICI credit card sales)
6. Sarala (Cut service manager at Hyd call center, exten# 5343)
Let me know how many more people I need to contact before some one can resolve my issue. Most of the ICICI staff I contacted had a major attitude issue.
Pls call me ASAP before I am robbed by ICICI. There wont be any more contacts made by me anymore but will have my lawyer send you a legal notice soon.
