I have not received any statement till now in which i had to undergo a very bad situation with the bank
This is to inform you that i had received my credit card statement for the month of 11-06-2008 my minimum amount due was 3, 780.00 and went to the icici bank to make the payments when i had cash of 4, 000 thats like 1, 000 each i was in the payment counter when i gave him the cash in the cash slip cashier said that he/she doesnt have change to give me back so i told him that i dont have change but he/she in the cash counter told me that you can make a payment of 3, 500/ and the remaining 280/ will reflect on your credit card statement for the next month and i did trust him and made the payment and after few days i had called ICICI bank to check my balance on my card they told me that i have any balance of 10, 000 which i can use it and on 25-06-2008 i got a call from ICICI in which the female who had callled me told that i have to make the payment i told i havent received the statement yet and my due date ids on july 10 but the female was not worried about my concern she was instiating on my payments of 280 which was due for last month statement i informed her what ever happend and why i did not pay the 280 but she told me that i going to send a representive to colect the cash but i refused it and she used some abuse languages on me and hung up and later on 26-06-2008 i not able to use my card in which i had a balance of 1, 200 still left on my card when i call the customer service and informed about it they still tel me make a payment of 5, 000 to get my card activated but i havent received any statement till now in which i had to undergo a very bad situation with the bank .i request some one to take action against this.

Employees at the c.c.dept. at ICICI has been a waste
Even though I recieved a mail from ICICI on the 9h of juy stating that my credit card is aproved and will be available in 7-10 days, its 23rd august and i still dont have it. Whats more, i recieved a statement from the same saying that i need to pay them 1000 odd rupees for mmbership charges and monthly rental. my continous efforts to the 24 hour customer service dept. as well as to the employees at the c.c.dept. at ICICI has been a waste. I sincerely hope that u will be able to help me by getting in touch with the right person concerned.

I am a victim of ICICI NRI banking service
I am a victim of ICICI NRI banking service. I have been using this service since March 2006 and have experienced delays in remittance to beneficiarys account. Normally the amount should reach into the account within 5 working days through electronic transfer. But sometimes, they do the payment through a DD (which isnt too bad, though slows down the process).

This month, I transferred the money on 4th and on the 10th May recieved an email from a Customer Service Officer calle Mr. R.Promod Kumar informing that the amount was sent through NEFT to the beneficiarys bank and they should recieve it within 7 working days. Its 25th may and there is no sign of this money.

I have been trying to contact the customer care everyday -through emails and phones, which is quite expensive. But, the numbers never seem to work and if picked up by any chance nobody seems to have any solution, always saying thats not the right service. One Mr. sayed Masood Ghori also replied saying they would update me within 3 working days and this is the end of 3rd day, I still havent recieved this promised update!!

I send this money to help my retired parents to support them and due to this delay they have been suffering so much, their cheques have bounced (they will have to pay some penalties) and their general health is suffering too.

ICICI has deactivated my online demand account for some reason
My experience with ICICI Bank is very bad. ICICI has deactivated my online demat account (AC No 8500801357) for some reason and I have talked to about 10 customer service but who have no idea why it was deactivated. I had a urgent need of money and needed to send rupees but my whole money is locked in modify allocation of my account but even after 6 days back with them to get my online account activated they haven�t still made my account active. Initially, they started saying it can be done on phone itself and I have been checking everyday to see if my account is activated. After about 06 days or so, someone told me that this cannot be done on phone and they have to do identity verification and asked me to send email to [email protected] and I did. They asked me to send some details about the account - like account number, ARN No., Bank Account No, Date of Birth etc. all. So I sent them e-mail with details and then for about 3 days there is no response. I had to call them again to talk about it and most of the guys I talked said they cannot do anything other thank noting down the problem.

Stay away from ICICI Bank
I have applied for an ICICI bank Fixed Deposit for Rs 20, 000 on 26th october 2005. The applcation number is 428178. An ICICI bank executive came to collect the Deocuments from my office on 26th. I gave a CHeque Payable at UTI bank dated 1st Nov 2005 and i was told by the executive that the FDR would start from the day my Cheque is cleared fom the bank. After a Lot of delay I finally got my Card which would identify my Fixed Deposit. No intimation was made by the respective bank about the Fixed deposit number and other details.
I called up customer care so many times and then finally was able to fetch the details about my Fixed Deposit. It was really shocking to know that my Fixed Deposit was started from 6th od december 2005.

The cheque that i gave got cleared from my bank account on the 12th nov 2005. And accordingly my FIxed deposit should have started from the 12 Itself. I had also logged a complaint with the ICICI customer care with the SR number SR-1014157714 but no action has been taken yet.

On asking the bank about the delay no justified reason has been given so far. I personally visited the GK-2 Branch a few days back and met Mr Rochak and he promised me of sending me the details of the delay but nothing has been recieved yet.

Though i have got my FD cancelled now and hope to get back atleast my 20, 000. I just fail to uderstand where was my Money from the date 12-Nov 2005 to the 5th Dec 2005 that is some 24 days.

I would like you to send across this complaint to the bank And make sure that the bank takes the necessary action. the bank has been giving advertisment on Television saying Quotes like "Hum hai na" and then providing such kind of customer service is just soooo redicilous.

I have paid already one extra cheque no 00706782 amounting Rs 6368/- on 04/11/09 apart from regular payment which is not reflected in your statement and which must be rectified immediatly.

On the other hand, everyday I receive calls from ICICI collection deptt. for pending of one EMI (Rs 6225/-) whereas there is no any EMI is pending till date according to my statement.

When I visited your PUNE branch & submitted my bank statement they checked thoroughly and told yes! that your one entry/cheque is entered to some one else account and be assured this will be rectified within a week time.

But still phones are comming to me which is very panic situation for a me or a customer.

Please see the attachements of the same do the best co-operation in this regard.

Change of address and TDS certificate
Sir,

I have a NRE and NRO account with your Nariman Point branch. I used to reside in USA till Nov'09 and moved to Canada in Dec'09. I was in the process of changing my address when I received an email from Deepak S Vargheese, head of NRI services and global remittance regarding submission of forms and documents under RBI's mandatory Know Your customer. I duly filled in the form and along with the supportings mailed to the address mentioned in the email. This was all done in Dec'09.

As I did not receive my TDS certificate from ICICI for FY 2009-2010, I contacted the customer service number and they informed me that the certificate was despatched to my earlier US address. When I mentioned that I had sent the address change form etc to the PO Box address mentioned in the email, the person said that the PO Box address is only for domestic account holders and NRI's should send the documents to the Branch directly.

I sent the documents to the address mentioned in the email. How on earth would I know that the information in the email was incorrect. I have to file my returns by 31st July and I don't have the TDS certificate. I have been trying to get in touch with Nariman point branch but even after spending couple of hours daily for the past 4 days, have not succeeded in getting a response. I have also tried the cell phone number of Suparna Kothare - operations manager of the branch. Either the phone is busy or its not picked up.

I am not sure how to get my complaint across to them. It's frustrating in the sense that, they are very prompt in charging the fees and sending email about new products but not on issuing TDS certificates. I had to request the certificate through the online site.

I hope somebody responds to this complaint.

no tds certificate
I bought some icici tax saving bond that matured this year. maturity amount had TDS cut, but no TDS certificate given to me. I have registered an issue on this on 30th May but still no response (after 1 month). i have sent 3 reminders too, but still no response. I am unable to file my returns, unless I forget the TDS deducted by the bank. Its very sad... mail the bank through the mail system in the website and there is no response. Call the bank and they say.. sorry... systems are down, cannot verify..

They say a lot of things on TV about taking care and they did take care until recently... have they become too big that they do not care for their customers anymore?

excuses and delays
I have never received any kind of satisfactory service from ICICI Bank - that bank has "Midas touch" in reverse. It will spoil any thing its people touch. I have had to put up with a lot of things. How ever I must say that when I had weitten letters to the people given below - I did get some kind of service at snail's pace - for eg I could finally get my ATM pin after 4 months. Activation of the card took 3 months etc., but at least it happened - the latest - they have locked my online access and they say it will take 6 days to unlock it - till then I am supposed to twidle my thumbs or travel with my ATM card or use cheques.
