I went for opening an account in ICICI Bank(Code:6226), Sathyamangalam, Erode - Dist.Tamilnadu on 10.09.2009. The problem i faced there forced me to run away from the bank. On 9.9.09 I just went to the ICICI Bank (Sathyamangalam)to enquire about the formalities for opening a savings account. The Bank personel told about the formalities and proofs that i have to submit for the same. He asked me to bring my Driving Licence, ration card, PAN Card, voters id. Actually i dont have a ration card because i'm new to this Place and my ration card is having my native address, same is the case with my Voters id. So i asked him whether i can submit my Post Paid Aircel bill for the Address proof. He said it is more than enough. Next day i went there with all the documents and money. I submitted my PAN card, ID Card, Driving Licence and Post paid bill.When half of the formality was over, they said we wont accept the post paid bill and asked me to bring my SBI Cheque book for KYC. With all pain i went to my house which far away from the ICICI bank. I came with cheque book and gave them a cheque. Immediately they had some doubt in processing and asked me to wait there. I was waiting there for more than a hour . Finally they told me in the evening that they need ration card Or BSNL Land Line Bill unless otherwise they wont process my application. The whole day was wasted. Immediately i went to the AXIS bank nearby and opened a Savings account within 20 minutes.Hats of to them (AXIS People). This is not the right way to deal with the customer who comes in happily to open an account .
I dont know why they neglect the Post paid bill of Aircel as address proof. Only by submitting all proofs we are getting a post paid connections. Even ICICI itself is a Private bank but not beliving in other established private operators. Really i was worried very much. I submitted my PAN Card, Driving Licence, ID card, Post paid bill. What else they need? I dont know.

My advice to others, I had read tons of complaints against ICICI bank in the web regarding Credit Card Issues, Unauthorised acessing of Account, Irresponsible reply from Customer services and insurance . Please be aware of it. They wont tell all the details initially but when they get the chances the will do all sought of nonsences. They will suck all your money.

My name is Rabi Narayan Das. I am a combatant member of Indian Air Force. A person ( name Mr. sanjay) came stating himself an agent of icici personal loan branch. he provide his visiting card. he asked for some documents and 13 cheques (signed by me and filled with pay to as icici). After few days his mobile number found switched off. On 31 Aug 09 i found my account number (A/c-132010100305150) has been debited with Rs. 34000/-. I rushed to the branch and enquired about the transaction. I found one of the cheque i have given to Mr. Sanjay has been passed by axis bank. An amount of Rs. 34000/- has been debited from my account to Mr. dilip kumar (a/c No. 000701567891) through cheque no. 892262. I reported the matter to the branch manager and after his due efforts i can recover my debited amount. I lodged an FIR in sadar thana about that person. I had gone to the icici bank to complain against the person (agent and account holder). They refused saying we can do nothing and it is the work of police. They also denied to provide the details of the person who is holding an account in their branch.

I request my grievances may be redressed.

I have taken Two Wheeler loan from Anand branch of Gujarat for Scooter Regn. No.
GJ-7 AM 2728. Which is repaid. Last installment was paid on 30-12-2008, but bank has not issued me matured NOC till date. For which I sent one online complain on 28-7-2009 by
SR 113949381. On complaint I recieved phone from Bank and was asked to issue me within a week, regret to say that I have not recieved the NOC till date. I hope necessary action will be taken by you to get me NOC issued.

I am a customer of icici bank.my account no. is 04040151082.i drop a cheque in drop box at icici bank boring road branch patna as on 10th august 2009.my cheque was not cleared .12th agust i went to branch office and mate branch manager and given my cheque details.but no body solve my problem.next day on 13th august i call to customer, he tell me i call you in a 10 minute and solve your problem but nobody call me i fill very bad with service of icici bank.So i request to you plz. solve my problem urgently.

Even though I have grave doubts whether anybody at ICICI Bank will even see this - but you need to vent, so here goes.

I am extremely unfortunate to own a ICICI Credit Card. I had an outstanding of close to 95k around the 20th of July. Between then & today - Aug 4th I have paid 70k & i am getting on an average 8 calls a day from a call center with a Delhi number - 3051xxxx - asking me for money. Called up the ICICI helpline - 41718000 - and sure enough got all the platitudes about apologizing for the inconvenience & the standard crap - & ensuring it wont happen again. Guess what - 3 calls today.

Can anyone do anything about this bank? And incidentally people just hang up in the middle of the conversation!!
