Bank is asking to pay without any usage of Credit Card
My self Bhupinder Singh and I have a complaint against ICICI Credit card.

ICICI Bank’s Marketing person has sold me a credit card in January 2006 and I have received Credit card (Credit card number 4477 4645 2733 9000) in February 2006. But ICICI has sent me an insurance policy along with the credit card which I have not asked for. As soon as I have received my credit card I have make a call to customer care (One can check the record for the same for incoming call made by me for that card) to cancel my insurance policy (ICICI policy has 15 days to cancel the policy from the date of issue); but the customer care executive told me that if I will cancel the policy I have to pay 1395.00 Rs (One thousand three hundred and ninety five Rs. only). After that despite of my calls no charges revert back by ICICI credit card. I have not used credit for any transaction, not even a single swipe.

But now after one year I received a call from Delhi 011-32624904 from Mona for payment of 4300.00 Rs against my credit card and she negotiate the amount to Rs 575.00 to give me the clean chit against my credit card statement.
Again on dated 13/11/2007 I had recieved a call on my mobile from a number 09313321220 and the person didn’t tell me his name but give me a number 09313306827 and asked me to call on this number as some one is going to impose a legal case on me in Patiala house of Delhi and the number belongs to Advocate Shikha Desai. He told me that I should tell her my file number 3447.

I made a phone call to that number on 3:20 pm and she said that ICICI credit card is going to impose a legal case on you, if I don’t want to legal procedure I should talk to Mr. Balwinder on 09311124031 or on 09313621469. She told me that person is the collection manager.

I made a call to that number, one number was switched off and second number was deliberately not picking up even after so many calls. I again rang advocate Shikha Desai and told her that no one is responding to phone calls. She told me that call after 5 minutes.

I made a call after 5 minutes and Mr. Balwinder told me that I have to pay the amount weather you have purchased any thing from credit card or not and now the negotiated amount was 945.00 Rs.

The time I got a phone call from a person on dated 13/11/2007 at 3:15 pm I was in a critical meeting and suddenly I was in shock and instead of meeting I have to take time out for making calls to ICICI credit card persons.

I just want to ask one thing that I have not used credit card, I have asked policy, I had asked bank to cancel my policy with in the time frame; Still ICICI doing the mental harassment and wasting my time unnecessarily.

ICICI the cheaters!
I applied for an ICICI Titanium credit card around mid of October 1007. The executive visited me, took all forms, photo, documents etc and told and told me that I should be getting the card in the next 2 - 3 weeks . He also told me that I will be getting a verification call, which I received too.

I got three verification calls (Yes, THREE!!) to verify my details, from three different ICICI personnel, asking the same information over the next two weeks and FOUR address verification, Two in Office and TWO in Home and I had to entertain all of them with all the information and additional documents they asked for verification (It was always the same thing and they would say that if they don’t present the documents, the verification will be marked as negative)

I called ICICI last week of October and was informed that my application "cannot be found" on the system!!!

Finally when I called the customer care (the hellish experience on earth) I came to know that my application got rejected (god knows for whatever reasons).

Whenever somebody tries to call icici bank and you will get many options. Upon selecting one option, you will get much more options and the process continues. By the time you speak to some human being (after selecting all unwanted options) you would have spent 10 - 15 mins wasting your phone call.

After all these drama, I came to know the result of my application. First of all, the executives who come to us makes vague promises telling that we are eligible for the card and promise 101 things. The actual truth is, these cheaters get an incentive for "every application form" filled, from the customers, whether the applicants get the card or not.

Wonder how they got to be No. 1 in credit cards.

Very harsh and unhelpful customer service!
The customer service has been very harsh and has not been helpful. They are rude and often end up giving wrong information to the clients. For eg. I dropped a cheque in one of their ATM in Madgaon, Goa and the amount was not deducted from the statement. When I checked with the customer service they told me that they don't pick up the cheques from the ATM. Immediately I issued a fresh cheque and made the payment but my previous cheque which was lost by the ICICI bank people. . And when I call the bank they say that they cant help it. There were several other incidents like this. Same way i have only 5000 rs balance in my card they disturbed me like any thing and talk on phone very rubbish language, and send a person to collect the cheque my residence with out informing me, who had came to residence look like a drunk ed...

Transaction dispute not handled!
I raised 2 separate transaction disputes on my credit card. As a part of the process I faxed them the copy of the complaint. As I was unable to send them a FAX to the number provided by them I called up the customer care requesting for an alternate number. In the follow ups with the customer care I was informed that the request was under process and was asked to check back later after the 90 period. When I did that I was informed that the dispute has been rejected as I did not FAX them. Now the customer care claims that they had no alternate FAX number and nothing could be done about the request.

Fraud & cheating!
I have surrender my credit card due to false billing. I have not demanded any loan but they have send me a check of Rs 16000/-. I refuse to take loan, but bank put a penalty and a EMI amont to pay. At last I surrendered the card as it was making me headache. After one year company advocate Shailendra shingh is threatening me to deposit a amount of Rs 3500/- to pay instantly within 2 hours in bank otherwise he will suit file against me for recovery. He said that he has send notices to my offices which I have never found. His statement is wrong because he doesn't send me any letter to my residence address. I asked to send me demand notice to pay after seeing the bill but he refused. I am mentally pussled & waiting for summon and fighting case against company up to supreme court.

Worst bank ever!
I have been using the card for more than 10 years or so... and i have been paying then regularly every time they call till day... about a year back i realized that i have been paying a lot of money to them... i have just used the card in the first year and ever since i have been keeping paying every single month. Anyways about a year back i told them i want to close their account and finish off the whole things... they have been charging me a lot of interest late payment charges every month and overdue and other charges too... i don't know why they charge all these i make my payment always in time... anyway i am gonna close this account and go to court to get justice... someone has to do something... its so sad why they loose good customers and charge like this...

Poor service!
I had an outstanding balance of Rs. @2914 as on 1st aug , i purchased something on 2nd aug , and put a cheque of Rs.3000 on 6th august, which was debited from my account on 9th august and when on 15 aug i check the outstanding balance i have a balance of rs. 3500+ late payment fee of rs.300+service tax. If i call the customer care, those idiots ask me to wait for 8 more days! One thing which I'm damn clear about is clearing my balance and canceling the card.

RBI is the one which has to keep check on these private banks, but instead it is keeping quite and these private banks are looting india in all possible petty ways! HELL WITH U AND UR CUSTOMER CARE ICICI!

Miss management
I live in Kanpur and I have a credit card of ICICI Bank... Few days back I received 4 small cards of health insurance done by ICICI Lombard and at the same time I received my credit card statement stating EMI is being paid by my credit card... I went to local branch and they say complain to MUMBAI office and at the age of 66 years they made me feel so much pain and I am unable to reslove this problem as now its been 4 months and I have now received credit card statement stating 17000/- INR outstanding... On card of health insurance my age is mentioned 35 years which in any case I can not use... Because of staff and field boys/girls we are facing so much problems... I really don't know how to resolve this problem as I talked to Mumbai office & also talked to Chennai office with both ICICI Credit Card division and ICICI Lombard division and found there is now co-ordination between these two companies...

I will surely take help of consumer court...

Continuous phone calls!
It is really being so irritating that at least I get 3 to 4 phone calls daily from ICICI regarding credit card/home loan/personal loan. I feel like sewing the company for the same...

Damn... the software that they use to get the phone numbers but it is unbearable...

No response regarding credit card
I had applied for a credit card and my application reference number is 351/200711105576. I have submitted all the details the company asked from time to time and has send many mail regarding this. The latest response was from Krishnan Govindan, Asst General Manager asking me to file information regarding my office address etc which I have already forwarded through my mail many a times but there is no response from the company.

Can anyone help in sorting out this.
