I bought ICICI Lombard health insurance Rishtey for my parents after their salesman claimed that they provide quick service and refund.
1. ICICI Lombard doesnt inform about medical test costs over and above the policy cost when the customer is sold the policy.
2. Even after full payment for the policy and a month later, the online status shows that it is still awaiting underwriting approval.
3. The customer service on Live chat and the number provided on website is awful and doesnt respond at all.
4. I have even tried to cancel the policy but have been put on hold and called transferred from deptt. to deptt.
I stay in United Kingdom and its extremely difficult to manage this type of issue from overseas. I wish I had bought the health insurance policy from some other company and saved myself all this harrowing trouble.
