They claim their BBB rating is great, but that's a scam to! I think they have somehow created a false website to show their rating because when I tried to file a complaint on the site, it wouldn't allow me. If ICM Group (ICM Marketing Group) calls you HANG UP the phone. Trust me I lost my money dealing with these people. It was my mistake for believing their lies when they called me about selling my timeshare, and I hate to see anyone else get scammed like I did. My problems started in April 2010, when they convinced me to sign a contract with them to sell/rent my timeshare. They promised to actively advertise my property, when in fact all they did was put a general picture of the property on their website. I received a call from Jeffrey Smith on June 20, 2010, claiming they had a buying. I was not home, so I returned his call at the number provided (888-610-8977), and of course I had to leave a message. I was so excited, because it had been a wild experience with this company, but I did not hear anything back from them. However, today, June 25, 2010, I got a call from them trying to sell me some extra time. They started with their whole scam, just as they did the day I got scammed, up until I told them, I already had a contract, and them they were quick to say, oh well I'm not in that department, but would you like to buy some more time. After telling them no again, and telling them once again, I already had a contract the telemarketer claimed to transfer me to someone to check on my contract. The next person I spoke with was a Jeffrey Smith, whom was the same person who I left the message for the previous week. I talked with him and told him that I got a message from him a week prior saying they had an interesting buyer, and of course, he didn't know what I was talking about. He asked my contract number and of course put me on hold to investigate it, and when he came back he told me they had people that are interested in my property and they were sure that they could get it sold, if I were to purchase some extra time. I was furious at this point, so to put it nicely for the readers here, I basically told him they have already screwed me once and weren't going to do it again. To I can't get my money back, but hope this will help someone else from being scammed. I read another complaint from someone who said they were a previous employee there, and can I believe everything they wrote, based on what I experience, and kudos to him for quitting that awful place. At least some people still have morals.
