Scam
I was on line when a pop-up come up about a CD to start your own website. It was for $2.95 with free shipping.I authorized a $2.97 for a CD that I never received. When I got my credit card statement there was a charge of $149.95 from ICM. When my credit card company contacted them about the charge, they sent them paper work stating that I had 3 days to cancell and they refused to refund the money. I never saw anything on the pop-up about joining this company let alone the 3 day cancellation. I just orded a CD that I never recieved. When I called the company they bacically told me that I was a idiot. I knew at that point that this was a scam.I am still fighting this case and will continue to do so. These people will not get by with this. If anyone has any info please email me at [email protected]. Thank you

charged money from my account
A company charged $150 from my account. They showed me only about $3 to be charged online. It is a company of online jobs. They say no to pay me back.

unauthorized charge on credit card
I signed up with this company to receive a package detailing the company and how the program works. They asked for a charge of $2.97 to receive this package via the mail. I never received the package. This was done on June 2, 2010.

When I received my credit card statement on 6/16/2010 I noticed the charge for the $2.97 for the package I never received and another charge for $149.95 that was NOT authorized. There was nothing indicating that I would be charged for the $149.95 and nothing stating what this was for.

After I submitted my credit card for the initial fee of $2.97 I was then directed to another screen to set up my bank account information in order to set up a web sight. At that point I got out of the web sight and did not give them any additional information.

I called the company on 6/16/10 inquiring about this $149.95 charge and gthey said they would credit the $2.97 since I never received the package, but would not credit the $149.95 charge.

I am very upset about this and would like to know how to proceed to get my money back. As this point I have disputed the charge with my credit card company, but ICM website said that I will not receive that credit.

Again, there was NOTHING stating that I would pay an additional $149.95. Please advise.

Thank you,
Sarah Rouleau

Scam
I authorized $2.97 to be charged to my account when I went in to check my bank account they had deducted and additional $149.95 without my consent. This company is a scam. It says it will give you three days to try the company. However my card was charged $149.95 the very next day. They will not refund my money. The site is misleading.

misleading
Too good to be true...must not be true: ICM Websites /www.myinternetcashtactics.com is very misleading. This outfit leads you to believe for $2.97 you will receive a "home income profit kit" in the mail with a 3 day trial period beginning once you receive the kit. If you are satisfied with the kit after 3 days you pay $149.99 for services. The outfit fails to give a specific time frame for the "3 day trial period" where the "3 day trial period" is mentioned. I certainly would not fork out $150 for a product/service that I am not familiar with until I have received all information pertaining to the product/service.

When I noticed the 149.99 charge on my credit card I called to cancel and the gentleman said that the $149.95 would NOT be refunded because of the terms listed on the web page. So he directed my to the BOTTOM of the page where the terms are listed and still after reading them…it still is very misleading. This info should be listed clearly (in clear language) on the sign up page "THAT I HAVE ONLY 3 DAYS FROM PAYING THE $2.97 TO CANCEL". I guess I have been ripped off but I hope this can help someone else from being RIPPED OFF!!!

SCAM
This internet posting is a scam. I authorized 2.97 for shipping and handling fee. When after checking my account, there was an pre-authorized payment for 139.95 without my consent. I tried calling the customer service team immediately after and was told that my money would be refunding shortly. Its been two days and still no money return. Ive tried calling the customer service line and I keep getting told that they are currently closed...

Charged my checking account
I authorized $2.97 to be charged to my account when I went in to check my bank account they had deducted and additional $139.95 without my consent. This company is a scam. How can we protect ourselves this is happening too much. I called my bank because is pending to stop payment. The bank said they have to alow them to do the charge because I gave them the information. Their is no consumer protection, even through our banks. Why can the bank stop the charges? We can put a stop payment on a check why can we put a stop payment on an internet scam?
