I recently got this number from Idea 9814533670 thinking that this company must be providing some exceptional services as Jr. Bachchan has been Screaming Get Idea on all channels, and quite Frankly I have No Idea why i got this Idea to get an Idea connection. It was a mistake on my part and I am regretting relying on them.
I got the number on Monday and it was working fine but then just after a day, on Wednesday, the services to my number were withdrawn without any prior notice or reason.
Imagine being unable to use your phone when you have to make and receive important calls and you have a business to run which relies heaving on cell phone usage... This stupidity of Idea Cellular cost me quite a lot, and i am sure they have no Idea that there are other people who are trying to make a living just like they themselves are..

And please don't endorse celebrities to make such tall claims that your phone can operate in far fetched areas, in elevators, bathrooms, closets and all fuckin odd places when it can't fuckin work in a city when a person has just purchased a connection for his convenience.

Saying sorry for inconvenience is easy, but you cannot pay me for the trouble, agony, and harassment you have caused.. If you guys are unable to handle the pressure, hand over your company to some other operator like Airtel and go live on an island... May be you will get an IDEA there that what went wrong with your techniques of running business... and Frankly, people said Spice provided shit service, even it was 100 times better than you guys... wake up and do something about it instead of misguiding people to buy your cellular services.

Idea Cellular is a total waste of time and money...

I am using Idea number(9891150321) NCR region. I had registered for DND service and its active since 10th may on my number however still I am getting permotional SMS’s. There is no time for these SMSs. Sometime I used to get SMS in the morning 6 o clock. I am not able to study and sleep properly due to these disturbing messages. I had tried to complaint with Idea, even with there nodal officer however all in vein. I am going through a mental agony due to these SMSs. Please help me.

I had called a few times for DND service to be activated on my phone. I get about 20 calls in a day and 10 SMS. After trying that send message to a toll free number a few times, and it didn't work I kept calling the customer service and got the same response. They even started charging for the call to Customer Care, which I think is completely idiotic. So finally I asked to speak to a spuervisor and requested him that at least the calls that I get from Idea Cellular .. which are internal should be blocked. I had the same problem with Vodafone before and they did it. They stopped my internal calls in one day. so my point is if they could do it why couldn't Idea Cellular do it too. I had a long discussion with the supervisor and all I got from him was I understand and I'm sorry for the inconveienece. He did not do anything to help me or what we call a "CUSTOMER SERVICE" .. According to me, you are just wasting your money on making these morons sit there on the phone for 10 hours a day and on the trainers who can not train them on how to handle the custoers and quality who can not make them understand a good quality customer experience and managers who fail miserably to manage the show. You should have a "GOOD WORKING IVR" custom designed for every scenario. That would be more cost effective and efficient because I don't see these imbecile representatives doing a good job at all, rather they provide you with a 3rd quality Customer Service Experience. If there's a simple question or a query, anybody can handle it. The question is when you have to go out of your way and provide a good customer experience, what do you do then. I am highly disappointed in the level of customer service Idea Cellular provides. I wish it was better but its not. my phone number is 0 999 064 6450 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 0 999 064 6450 end_of_the_skype_highlighting. I don't have GPRS or MMS on my phone which I gave up long back after at least 20 calls and now I'm giving up on promotional calls and text from Idea which I DO NOT need. and soon I will be giving up on Idea Cellular too and move to Airtel as they have a better plan. I just don't want to change my number so I'm waiting for TRAI decision to be activated and I could change my service provider without changing my number.
