Pay Phone Detroit to London ONT.

Called family in Southern Ontario Canada from the airport payphone at DTW (Detroit, MI ), using my Bell Canada Phone Card. I did not do anything different that I have not done before when using my phone card in the US. About a month later I got my Bell Canada phone bill in and it showed a charge from IDL Telecom on it. The phone call was only 2 min long and was for about $35. I called Bell Canada and after talking to 3 people and 45 min later they said I HAD to pay for it and there was nothing they could do for me. I asked them who was this IDL and they could not tell me. The next day I called Bell Canada back and after 2 more people and 30 min later they said they would take the charges off the bill. However they informed me that IDL may bill my directly at some point. My question still stands, who is this IDL and why does Bell Canada not have any idea as to why they are charging my phone card.

Just received phone bill with IDL charges of $12.95. Called AT&T to dispute. They agreed to waive charges. Asked me to contact IDL to cancel. IDL says they're just a "billing center" and they will "stop Universal Voice Services" from billing to my number again BUT I needed to contact Universal Voice Services (1-866-473-1980) to get them to stop and for credit. Contacted Universal Voice Services - they claim my husband authorized a charge for an "800 number" and they've got "email to prove it". After much debate, they agreed to cancel and issue a credit. I will SUE them if they continue this crap!
