I became aware today, 3/7/09, that IDS Grants took $94.89 from my accoubt that was not authorized and I want it returned immediately. This should be aginst the law, when I paid the 1.99 that was require for the disc from a grant company and the name was not IDS. What must I do to have my mones returned? I need to pay my bills as I am already on a tight budget and they took monies that was for my electric bill.

I was charged 94.00 and I would like a refund I did not authorize these charges

On 2-16-09 IDS Grants charged $94.89 on my Mastercard. I never heard of this company, and I certainly did not authorize any such charge. I called them on 1-866-702-6834 and requested an immediate cancellation and a credit be applied to my account. They told me they would send an e-mail telling me how to reach their billing department to initiate the credit request. He said he sent the e-mail while we were talking on the phone. One hour later I checked my mail, and there was not one from IDS Grants! I am requesting an immediate credit be applied to my account. PLEASE HELP.

On Feb. 17th I checked my account balance before paying some bills. I noticed that a withdrawal had been made by IDS Grants. I called the number that appeared next to the name (866-702-6834) and spoke to some lady who said I would receive two emails regarding the matter. The following day I checked and no emails. I called again and spoke with a man. I told him about my firt call and he said I needed to get in touch with their support team and gave me an email address of [email protected]. This turned out to be an invalid address. I notified my credit union of what happened and then started looking to see if I could find an address of the scam company, but no luck yet. So I am filing a complaint wherever I can, including government agencies.

I paid $1.99 to get onto IDS grants website. I never agreed to pay $94.89, and the money was taken out of my account a week later. I was just laid of from my job and can barely afford my bills, and now I'm getting ripped off!!!
