I signed up for a loan and clicked on accept terms but hadn't realize it was for identity theft too. And I didnt know there was a fee for $33.98 and asked for a refund, so I went through the form and cancellation number. Then kept checking my bank account and received another overdraft fee, still no refund until I checked back with the site, and they just informed me that I had been denied and Even though it hasnt been a month or not even a week since I've had the application. Then the rep that I chatted with on the refund site had said that I used the idtheft protection service, and that is pure un true. So now I have an outstanding overdraft fee due to the $33.98 that was taken out. I would like the company to refund me the payment that I didnt officially agree to and did not ask idtheft protection to take out the money from my account, and to repay the overdraft fees. thank you.

I am beside myself reading how so many others were scammed by idtheftrefund that I see why this scam keeps working. It seems as if no one else is as pissed off about this as I am, even some people who have lost hundreds of dollars and are only asking for an explanation. I want someones head on a platter, thats how I feel. I do not see the difference between this scam and someone who steals your credit card. I think this company should be prosecuted. It is ironic how they advertise their service as ID theft protection but steal your bank info and start stealing from you fucking account isn't that what ID thieves do as well...

I tried to apply for an online payday loan and was taken to a site called last chance. Once I realized that they were going to sign me up for theft protection I closed my browser. I never completed my application or signed. 2 months later I have an unauthorized withdrawal for $31.98 from ID Theft Protection. Their withdrawal also caused an overdraft fee. I was told to go to the site idtheftrefund.com for a refund of my $. I just did that, I'll see what happens next.

I never signed up for this service and they debited my account for $31.98 plus I now have a $30.00 overdraft charge. I have canceled this service and I want my money back. This is a true SCAM and I will be reporting this to the BBB and everyother Govt office I can think of. Companies such as this should be slammed. I went on a payday loan website to see if I could get a payday loan. Then, next thing I know my bank lets me know that these crooks took $31.98 out of my checking account and overdrew the account- costing me an additional $35.00. I want the complete refund (including overdraw fees caused by them) of $66.98 back into my account asap, or I am contacting the better business bureau and will also being filing a lawsuit against the company.
