Washing machine was not working for the last one month
Washing Machine was not working for the last one month and machine was taken for repair at Turbhe Navi Mumbai on 19.09.2009. Inspite of repeated telephone call to Mr. Ankur and Nilesh there was no response at all. The customers are being harassed since this is a new machine we request you to replace with a new one or our original machine should be repaired properly and should be handed over to us urgently. We shall be thankful if you look into the matter and expect a reply from you.

Useless washing machine which never washes clothes
The most number of consumer complaints are for IFB products. I think the company should shut down because of selling faulty products.I have purchased a IFB washing machine - Diva in March 2009 which does not even washes the clothes after using IFB recommended and IFB costly detergents. We were earlier very happy with our semi-automatice whirlpool washing machine. All our clothes washed in this new machine in these 5-6 months have become worst and always look dirty as if they are not washed.
I, now, feel that I have been cheated by the company as I have paid the full money towards the purchase of such an useless washing machine which never washes clothes.

Within few day the machine started give problems
Within few day the machine started give problems, i have made 6 to 7 compain at customer care and end number of calls to many people of IFB . Still the proble has not been solved and know i have asked the company to refund my hard earned money back as within 2 months machine started give problem how is it going to run for years. As on today the machine is not working.

After hearing the complaint no. the customer service people disconnect the phone
My washing machine was not spinning properly. The engineer came to rectify the problem and after that it has become a dead piece of equipment. Now after hearing the complaint no. the customer service people disconnect the phone. I spoke to higher up but nothing happened, everyday they give a false commitment. Nobody comes, nobody calls to tell us the status.

Despite requests and reminders no body bother to remove the defect
I approached customer care center, officers of IFB on Phone and ultimately a complaint no. 2997866 dated 04.05.2009 was given regarding the high viberation in the machine . one representative came and did something and told to replace certain parts but despite requests and reminders no body bother to remove the defect. Mr. Sumit Sharma representing himself as the regional head lastly refused to entertain and told the original bill as the forged and febricated one. He told me that if I want to see my machine in working order then I have to Pay for. My machine is in warranty period and the IFB is legally duty bound to replace the machine or to remove the defects by replacing the defective parts.

No response from customer care
I have your washing machine Elena EX. Its water solenoid valve failed. I complained on your customer care help line on 22/04/2009. My ticket no. is 2950080. Followed up 4 times since then. No response so far.

I feel they are cheating us by making us pay for the AMC as well as for the damaged part
I have a 2 years Annual Maintenance Contract for my washing machine. The machine stopped functioning properly a week ago and we called up their service center. The technician came home removed a coin from somewhere said that the drum was damaged due to a coin and that we would have to pay charges Rs 2700 to replace the drum. Since I have already paid Rs. 3600 as AMC I think the company should replace any part that is damaged except the ones listed in their AMC. I feel they are cheating us by making us pay for the AMC as well as for the damaged part.

The trolley is so small, machine is giving excessive vibrations during its operation
At the time of demo on 31.01.2009, I had ordered for a trolley for my washing machine. Though, the trolley was supplied for cost by Mr.Srinivas with the bill of M/s Dealwel Home Appliances(Authorised IFB Customer Care Centre, Plot No.433, Beside Shradda School, Bhagat Singh Nagar, Kukatapally, Hyderabad - 085), the total base of the machine is not seated in the trolley when the machine was placed in it. In fact, the trolley is so small, machine is giving excessive vibrations during its operation. Only 1/3rd of the base of the machine is seated in the trolley and the remaining portion of the base of the machine is hanging outside of the trolley.
Contacting Mr Srinivas, number of times, over the phone number given by him could not fetch any results as the mobile was repeatedly heard switched off.

Avoid at all costs
We took washing machine on jan 1st and the person came on 6th of jan..after coming he told that he did not get the pipes etc..and left .. he came after 2 days he fitted all the pipes, adapter etc..and went away...on 9th of jan i left to my native and came on 25 th of jan and started using it..on 27th of jan my adapter was broken and i called the concerned person to change it..he told that hell be coming within 1 hr..i waited for 1 hr and i called him then he told that he is not coming and register a complanit then only ill come and he dont know how to talk with customers.. plz take an immediate action against that guy...and i request u to give customers a good spare parts.. hardly i ued for 3 days and it was broken so soon.. i lodged a complaint but till now nobody turned up...
