Igomogul/Website Business Reviews

Scam Buster-1 January 21, 2010
Scam
These people took advantage of my elderly mother. She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and she has been taking prescription drugs that affect her logical thought process. Igomogul took advantage of that fact and convinced her to spend approximately $4500.00 to develop a web site to talk about her experience with breast cancer. I have seen the web page that they developed for her, and it it extremely basic. It was a cut and paste job that probably took a whole 10 minutes of work to complete. They convinced her that she could (possibly) sell her domain name in the future for thousands of dollars. They also told her that she could make lots of money by getting people to click on other links on her site.
I have seen the contract and it is 100% lopsided in favor of Igomogul. They offer no refund, if you are not satisfied with the service they provide. They offer no guaranty of making any money with this hefty investment. Any company that doesn't offer a satisfaction guaranty is obviously not at all confident in their product or service.
Kyle Winn is listed as one of the owners of Igomogul. When I went to visit these scammers at 4451 East Oak in Phoenix AZ, I took a the mug shot from Arizona Department of Corrections with me. Mr. Winn would not talk to me, but the receptionist verified that it is the same person.

When I originally called Igomogul to get my mothers money back. A person calling himself Kyle (Collins), who said he was a manager in this very small company, eventually came on the line. I was given the runaround and ended up calling back a little later that day. When I called back, I was told that Kyle Collins no longer worked at Igomogal. When I told the receptionist that I just got done talking to a man calling himself Kyle Collins who claimed to be a manager, the same man that a talked to earlier came back on the line. When I asked him why an employee of a company with less than 30 people didn't know who he was, he claimed that the receptionist was new, but I would think that even a newby would know the name of a manger in a company that has so few employees.
Then, when I stopped by to visit Kyle Collins in person, the same thing happened. The receptionist told be that Kyle Collins no longer worked for Igomogul, and that she had a full list of all current employees and that there was no person by the name of Kyle Collins employed at Igomogul. A man named Jack came to the receptionist area and told me that he would take care of getting a refund for my mother. He lied. I called back about a week later to find out why the money hadn't been returned yet, and somehow this mysterious man calling himself Kyle Collins ends up back on the line again.
These people are obviously liars and scammers. Don't trust them and don't waste your money.
