managment
I am a server at I-hop #1928 in Fort Worth, I am hoping to shed some light on a matter concerning our management. She is VERY vindictive, mean, and utterly psychotic, I do not need to be told how hard she works, because we know how chaotic it can get, especially on the weekends, I do not need to be called derogotory names in front of costumers, or being called an F-ing this or a Fat piece of that, and worse. I just want to go to work, do my job, and take care of my customers. We have already made a complaint to her bosses but nothing has yet resulted, I want to be treated with respect, and in return I will be a much better employee. I work very hard, but I do not need the G.M to come all the way to the service area from the register to tell me she is to busy to to handle things at the wait station, while I have to take an order, take drinks, pull food, and help out my co-workers and on top of that get the door and her coffee!
I want things to get better and we at 1928 are tired, sick and tired!

bad food and long waiting time
My family and i went to the ihop in easley south carolina the food was awful and so was the service. the eggs were like eating rubber and the pancakes were burnt. we had to wait a hour on our food no refills on drinks unless we asked. the waitress would walk by and act like she didnt see we needed drinks. we were not the only family that had a problem. they really need to get there act together. we will never be back to that place again

Ireally dont feel that it was right that you termanate a good employee for not saying come back to see us .
i am one of the best employees that you had i was never late i had some of the highest sale in the whole place.
i have always liked working for Ihop i would love to have my job back .its not fair.

I worked at IHOP and I want to let everyone know how they screwed me over!! I worked the night shift for 4 years. A really skanky girl named Shannon got hired and started telling the managers lies about me and things I'd said. She also proceeded to sleep with two of the managers. A friend of the manager who also is a highway patrolman started asking me out repeatedly. I refused to go out with him and told the manager to tell him to stop and to leave me alone. He refused and told me I had to tell him myself which I had already done. After I told the guy I didn't ever want to go out with him the manager that I had informed to tell the guy to leave me alone fired me. I went back in and told another manager what happened so he told me to go to another Ihop location and hed give me a good reference and I got hired at that location. Then I got hurt and they wouldn't file my workers comp. I called the corporate office and the director of franchises told me he didn't know the law regarding workman's comp in OK and he didn't care. I had to threaten to take them to court and had to report them to the Department of Labor before they would file my claim. It took a year.They were rude, and unprofessional. I will never eat at another Ihop as long as I live.

im so sick of people complaining about waitresses, i didnt get a straw, i didnt get attention in the last 2 minutes, omg why? why?why do you keep goin to the same place and complain?stay home cook and wait on yourself.dont you people know waitstaf only get like 5 something an hour we depend on tips omg come on people you keep us running pay us.and im not a slacker i work hard, i notice the poorer the person the better they tip, people from overseas dont tip, prs dont tip good and blacks dont tip at all.not all but most ask any wait person they no.

horrible food
As soon as I came in I was greetewd by sumone who looked like they did not want to be there. It was me my husband his sister and. A ten year old, 5yr old, 4yr old. And 10month old, we had to get up and ask if sumone was going to help us it took forever to get our drinks, we ordered an appitizer and it basically came out with our meal and the mash potatoes were cold . On our plates ! Future reference I am not going back to this ihop

HARRASSMENT
A FELLOW EMPLOYEE BY THE NAME OF MELISSA ELLIS HAS BEEN HARASSING ME FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS. I HAVE LET MANAGEMENT KNOW SEVERAL TIMES AND YET IT STILL OCCURS. SHE CALLS ME NAMES, MAKES RACIST REMARKS, AND MAKES THE WORK ZONE VERY HOSTLE. AT THE RESTURANT THERE IS NO HUMAN RESOURCES TO CONTACT. AND THE MANAGER AND THE HARRASSOR ARE FRIENDS, AND I THINK THATS WHY NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT THE SITUATION. IT GOT SO BAD THAT TODAY I HAD TO ACTUALLY QUIT MY JOB. NOW I AM UNEMPLOYED DUE TO THE HARRASSMENT. I THOUGHT THERE WAS LAWS PUT INTO PLACE TO INSURE THE SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES, BUT AT THIS PARTICULAR RESTURANT THEY DONT GO BY THE LAWS. I AM TAKING FURTHER ACTION ABOUT THIS. AND I AM NOT THE ONLY EMPLOYEE BEING HARRASSED BY MELISSA, IM THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS BRAVE ENOUGH TO SAY SOMETHING. THIS SHOULDNT HAPPEN TO ANY OTHER EMPLOYEES NOR THE CUSTOMERS. MELISSA HAS SEVERAL COMPLAINTS IN HER FILE AS WELL AS WRITE UPS FOR SIMALAR SITUATIONS. THANK YOU

Eating My Food
As I sat in IHOP, my table facing the kitchen, I watched as the server
took my plate out of the kitchen and put it in front of her. She proceeded
to eat off my plate. After picking on my fries, she popped my plate
into the microwave so I wouldn't know better. She brought it out to me, and it was cold,
as she took forever to eat from it. I was so grossed out.

food cleanliness
I had a glass of water and halfway through drinking it, there was a fly floating around. I came so close to swallowing it! All the waitress and manager did was offer new water without even an apology nor offering compensation. I believe that is outrageous especially in the manager's part. Never going there again

Customer Service
On November 26, 2009 my husband and I visited I HOP located at 360 Route 46, TOTOWA, NJ 07512-1835 for breakfast. We were initially seated by a waiter who told us he will be with us shortly. We were waiting for 20 minutes and when the waiter arrived about twenty minutes later he just gave a glance on our table and never came forward to take our order and left. He did this for almost four times. As this was our first time we thought its their practice but we were shocked to find that all people who came after us got their food on the table. After waiting forty minutes or more we felt embarrassing and left the place where no waiter cared a damn to serve their customer. This is by far the worst service I have ever received and i wouldn't call this a service as the right word to describe is 'treatment'. I do not plan to visit IHOP again.
I noticed a phrase in the home page of IHOP... COME HUNGRY LEAVE HAPPY it would be apt if it is COME HUNGRY LEAVE INSULTED.
PS: There has been same complaint from few of my friends.
