I am shipping 3 packages via a friend through IMPEX to Nigeria. They recieved the first of these packages 10th August, 2010 (twelve days ago) and the last on the 18th August, 2010 (5 days ago).
The norm was that they call me and inform me of the receipt of the packages. No calls.
5 days went past and I called tonight. I had never received a worse quality of customer service from any other company operative in my entire life. One of the operatives actually told me I should stop lying. Another put me on hold for 12 minutes and 14 seconds without getting back. In total, I was on an international call for 27 minutes and a few seconds and I ended up spending 95 percent of the time on hold.
When I ultimately got an operative to talk me through my issues, she was supremely rude in her manner of asking for my UPS tracking details and ultimately dropping the call after asking me to mail them, since to her, I was incapable of pronouncing the letters and figures with her Southern drawl.
The most confounding aspect of the whole saga is that these are all Nigerians who speak south-south Nigeria pidgin to themselves during calls.
My packages are still not found.
