I was on my way to my eight year old son's football practice and he said that he was hungry. So I stopped at the In N Out Food Mart/Shell Gas Station and picked him up a drink and a snack. I was very preoccupied from a busy day at work and I handed the cashier my credit card. He ran it and said it was declined. I was very shocked and asked if he could run it again. He said that I did not have money and he was very irritated but he ran it again. Again the card was declined. The cashier started to yell at me saying my card was no good and that I did not have money!!! I customer behind me said "don’t worry about it I will pay for her." I said no thanks I have another card. He ran that card and it worked. He then started to yell at me in front of my son and the other customers saying "I told you that was a bad card and you have no money, I told you to should have used this one first!!! You are stupid and have no money!" I looked at him VERY IRRATED and trying to stay calm as my son was there, and said "you are VERY RUDE!" He started to hand me my receipt and as I reached for it he pulled it back and again told me I was stupid and had a problem not him. I kept my hand out and he teased my with the receipt and when I finally got it in my hand on it he pulled it back again. The cashier said the store owner was his uncle. I will NEVER use this SHELL gas station again and told everyone that is on my son's team. I called my bank and asked why my card was declined and they informed me that my card it not show an attempt for payment.
