I spoke to you on Saturday at about eleven in the morning. It is with great disappointment that this email finds you. We have been planning our trip to INC. for a while now and it finally happened on Friday. I stay in Pretoria, so my husband and I drove from here to the inc to meet with friends. We paid by the little caravan stall and went in at about to two. We all paid together, R900. On entering the lady with a curly bob hairdo accidentally stamped me on my shirt (PAID). It was my husband and I’s 3 years and seven months anniversary on Friday and he had bought me the shirt specially for the evening. I asked her if it will come out of my shirt, she ignored me and looked at one of the bouncers that were standing next to her, I raised my voice and asked again, two bouncers grabbed me and pushed me out of the queue they pushed me so hard that I nearly fell, fortunately my husband held me up, when he asked them how could they man handle me like that they smacked him.
We shouted and told them that this is not right, they said that I miss behaved and therefore I am not allowed to go in, they called a gentleman over in a white long jacket and dreads, he did not even look at us and just waved his hand and said let them f off. This behavior was very weird, I think your staff might need to be checked for drugs or alcohol on duty? The main bouncer Bruno or someone took our receipt and went in to go and get our money back. He never returned we stood around for another hour or so and saw that our please fell on deaf ears as we were blatantly ignored. This was an extremely embarrassing and humiliating experience never mind traumatizing. My husband was outnumbered and I feel that we were abused. I had to apologize to the rest of the group for our party being put out when in actual fact I needed the apology. Saturday morning I phoned another gentleman before phoning you, the brand manager or something, he was rude and abrupt and did not give me an opportunity to explain, he said I must send him an sms, which I did, he never phoned back. I phoned Bruno someone else answered and they were laughing and making fun of my situation. I said I want my money back, to which they replied that they do not have the authority to give my money back, I said you have the authority to throw people out but not to refund? He said the event was closed for VIP’s only and he does not understand why no one told us that the public is not welcome and that is why we were rough handled. I am upset that we were treated like drunkards and criminals and as if they did us a favor. I am upset that my husband was smacked and actually helpless. When I told them I will phone the police Bruno laughed and said and say what I got pushed for misbehaving. He also refused to speak to me cause he said in his culture he does not speak to females.
This is highly, highly unacceptable. If anything the least that can be done is our money back.
