riservation is not in prosses last three days
I HAD GONE TO RAILWAY RESERVATION COUNTER AT HATHRAS CITY STATION ON 19/04/2011 FOR DO THE RESERVATION FROM HATHRAS CITY TO LUCKNOW, BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED RESERVATION ON THAT COUNTER BECAUSE RESERVATION COUNTER CLERK SAID THAT PRINTER IS NOT WORKING FROM TWO DAYS. I HAVE FACE MANY TROUBLES. SO PLEASE SHORT OUT THIS PROBLEM. VIKAS GUPTA

non displaying of coach numbers
Dear Sir,

I travellrd by train No.& Name:18238/Chhattisgarh Exp.# on 30.3.11 from Bhopal to Bilaspur. I boarded from Habibganj Railway station. My PNR No.:2418147169 with transaction Id:0316453422. I faced real problem in Habibganj Station, Bhopal. There was no display of coach details in the station. The train came on the No.4 platform. I came without asking the position of A1 coach. Then was waiting for display of coaching. But perhaps they forgot upto last moment. When the train was entering the station, on that moment they started announcing the position of the coach and it was a real mess in the station . All the pssengers started running here and there as the stoppage was just for two minutes. When the train entered the station then only they dislplayed the coach numbers. It is a request to look after such incidents.So that the passengers do not suffer.

cheating
SUB.:- COMPLAINT FOR MISLEADING THE PASSENGERS BY INDIAN RAILWAY
REF.:-PNR NO. 6149960359 (ROU-HWH)
The above mentioned Ticket / PNR was issued to me (Booking Date 22 Nov; 2010) for the travelling by 8006 Koraput Howrah Express for the Date of Journey 05 Dec; 2010 by 2nd AC, between the sector Rourkela to Howrah.
But when I reached the station at Rourkela at 2130 hrs to board the train I was totally shocked to know that the particular train is on diverted route since last 5 to 6 months and not cross through Rourkela station.
I was totally helpless to move Howrah as unable to get reservation in any train, beside this I was advised by customer care of IRCTC to proceed for TDR formalities for the said ticket instead of cancellation, as the chart was already prepared.
I proceeded for TDR formalities of the above ticket and also cancelled the following onward tickets;-
1. PNR. No. 6447645274 DOJ 07 Dec; 2010 HWH-BBS Train – 2073 BBS Jan Shatabdi Express
2. PNR. No. 6349733300 DOJ 08 Dec; 2010 BBS-ANGL Train – 8106 BBS-ROU Inter City Express
3. PNR No. 6448154671 DOJ 08 Dec; 2010 ANGL-BBS Train – 2894 BLGR BBS Super Express
I am surprised to see why the tickets of diverted route / cancelled trains are issued which are not running through stations since long period and even in railway site “train running position” the trains are shown running at time at non running stations.
Due to this negligence lot of passenger are harassed. I have suffered a big loss financially by cancelling the all tickets / tour visits and unnecessary staying in a hotel at Rourkela along with that mentally harassed. Along with this I have to kept wait for my refund against the Cancelled / TDR tickets.
Beside this I was forced to stay at Hotel as there was no availability in any train, business loss and the harassment I faced is in-calculated.
I have sent a letter letter dated 21 Dec; 2010 to The Director (Public Grievance), Indian Railway, Rail Bhavan, New Delhi by speed post on dated 23 Dec; 2010, but no reply is received by me till date.
Kindly let me know what the action is to be taken for the misleading the passengers.

Late running of trains
I was travelling by Sampoorna kranti on 28 DEc. 2010 and i had a horrible experience of my journey from Patna to New delhi. The train was late by 14 hours and when checked the railway website the train was running late throughout the week.

gunda gardi of Vada pav sellers at Valsad Stn.
Dear Sir
i am working in Jansansar & ut news at Daman, Daily travelling by Local from Valsad to Vapi By local and Gandhudham( Kutch Express ) on 19 th December of Sunday, when I was boarding at train in last Compartment of local which was coming at Valsad at 9:12 am in the morning, the vada pav sellers try to push me so that I slap him then he was try to bit me use some bad words like galis, then he thrown his vada pav thali and demanding Rs.150/- for damage of his vada, but i have refuse him, then again he try to bit me, so that my freind have given him the money, after that we find out that boy at which stall he was working the stall no.was 15 at platform no.2 of Valsad st. . his owner told me that I will give you money back but he did not refund, and again that boy was try to abuse some bad words, The railway authority should stop this nonsence and should appose to cell in compartment, they should not allow this to cell inside the train

WHY THE RAILWAY ALLOWS UNAUTHORIZED PERSONS TO ENTER ANY COACH, WHY
THE MISCREANTS ARE NOT PREVENTED AT THE GATE & SPECIALLY DURING NIGHT.

WHAT OUR VERY HONORABLE MAMATA BANERJEE IS DOING - NO SAFTY - NO TIMING
- NO CLEANNESS - NO GOOD FOOD - HOW MUCH WE ALL HAVE TO SUFFER.

DOUBLE BOOKING OF SAME BERTH

AND THE SAME TICKET WAS ALEADY BOOKED TO OTHER PASSENGER.

Not Refunding full ammount for train delay more than 6 hours
Dear sir, i had booked a ticket from ANVT to ALD(PNR-2109821035 by train no 2818 dt 23/8/10.this train was delayed by more than 6 hours.Its actual dept.time was 19:50 whereas it left ANVT 2:30am on 24/8/10.
On arriving the ANVT to cancel my reservation on 24th/8 morning at 9 am, booking staff refused to cancell it and advised to come after 5 days and get 50%fare for non boarding the train.
Then i approached DY.SS of ANVT station M r OM KUMAR and even he could not get a solution AND THEN I LODGED A COMPLAINT ON COMPLIANT REGISTOR WITH DY SS. AND COMPLAINT NO. IS 006 DT 24/8/2010.
YOU ARE REQUESTED TO TAKE NECESSARY STEPS TO GET ME THE FULL REFUND OF RS 548.AS A CUSTOMER I FEEL THAT IT IS A CHEATING OF A LARGE GOVT. ORGANISATION AND APATHY TOWARDS CUSTOMERS .WHY SHOULD A CUSTOMER SUFFER FOR THE MISTAKE HE NEVER DID.
According to raiways rule if a train is delayed more than 3 hours customers get full refund of ammount.

train cancellation before end station
Sir,
I am writing in to complain that on the 28TH july 2010, I was travelling to jammu from delhi (anand vihar terminal) via train no.- 0403A anand vihar terminal jammu tawi special on ticket PNR no.2539234603.enroute to jammu the train halted at chakki bank station for almost half an hour and then all passengers were rudely in formed, not by announcement on the public address system, but by a sweeper who from outside the compartment just shouted at everone that the train would proceed no further due to water on the tracks ahead, and that a train coming from behind would take us to our destination.the passengers panicked and tried to complain to authorities but none came to our rescue. Worse they disappeared from the station and left the passengers to fend for themselves.this happened at 11:30 am and finally a train arrived at 1:00 pm to takes us to jammu. The train was already packed to capacity and one can imagine passengers from 2 trains travelling in one train.
With kids and family it was a harrowing time to travel the distance from chakki bank to jammu.the kind of co-opeartion from the station staff and rpf and other railway staff is best known by the railway department.
Sir, I would like to take this complaint to the highest possible level and demand an immediate enquiry as to what the circumstances were which led to just 1 train unable to proceed to jammu when all other trains could?
I am not sure if you have ever suffered the ignominy that that proceeded the train cancellation and subsequent aftermath of the action?
is the same treatment meted out to passengers who travel by airoplane?
Do we not pay to get our tickets reserved(mine was a tatkal ticket) ?
Are we not human enough to warrant such indecent behavior?
Who is answerable to such rash decisions which leaves hundreds of passengers like me stranded mid way our journey?

Sir, I expect a fair enquiry into the matter and a speedy response from your end to the answeres I have raised and demand action against all concerned.
If in case you are unable to respond within 15days I would be forced to approach the consumer forum to seek damages for the financial loss and mental agony I have had to undergo because of this decision.
