Dear Concern
Hi, this is Himanshu Kansal from Patiala (Pb.). This is regarding a complaint regarding the ticket availaibility at Patiala indian railway station. First of at every ticket counter there i in written that passenger could get a return ticket for journey above 200 km in advance. Then why the lady employee at the ticket counter refuses to provide the same when asked to provide the return ticket from delhi to ambala city. She said we can't provide the return ticket. This is not the first time when she refuse for the same. I just want to know that if railway didn't provide the return tickets then why same is written every where or if employee are not willing to work then why they are getting paid higher salaries. They should go home and sit. You will shoked to hear the incident i m telling you that this is regarding what happenz before 2 weeks ago with me. When i approach to railway station to get a retun tickt from delhi to patiala for the next day then the same lady said railway is not providing the return tickets after some time when i approach the another person on the counter regarding the same with someones ref. then he was about to provide the ticket lady sitting beside him said if i have said no then why you are roving the ticket and gets angry on the same. Then he also refuse to give the ticket. Same has been happend withe me toaday ( 10-Mar-10 08.05 pm.).So this is our indian railway service for the passengers. Emlpoyees are not willing to work even then they are getting paid to not povide the services. Another issue regarding the rupee change on the ticket counter. If anyone wants to buy the ticket and if ticket costs rs 12 the the emploee asked the passenger for change of Rs. 2. if passenger gave him/her change then its ok but if you didn't get the change then you will not get you balance back. Same has been happen with every passenger. I didn't understand if 100 passengers out og 200 give the change then what did they do with the same change. They didn't give the balance back to anyone. From this every employee gets approx. Rs. 200-300 extra per day in his packet. This is not fare. That money don't belongs to them. Even then this they do like to work. So plz take the necessary steps to keep the passengers interest in the railway.

criminal activitiesby without ticket local passengers, police and local students in upper class coaches
I was travelling with my family from jalandhar to bokaro steel city by Train no 8104 on date 5/6/10 in 2nd A/C coach, After we cross the mugalsarai the train stopped at a small station and there from mroe than 100 local boys of age 12 to 20 get enter in our coach No A1 they were all without tickets, some local elder passengers with policealso get in our coach and they werealso without tickets, Ticket checkers dare not to ask them about tickets. the problem not just stop there the local boys start roaming in groups of 20 t0 25 form one end to other end of the coach making noise with abusing and bad language. I protest against them with some travelling passangers, and then ( local boys) they start abusing us and therating us that they will burn the train, and who ever will stop them from entering the coach will supposed to be dead.they were also calling a slogan EK BIHARI SAU(100) BABIHARI. I Feel so Shamefull that I am an INDIAN after that. A man with young daughter was also there who protest with me against them was unable to do any thing besides listening there threat and abusing shouts . A local police man there do nothing as he said to us that he was not on duty that day and he was also travelling there without ticket. I feel very shame full about that day loosing my honour and love for India

Issuance of ticket on wrong travel date, PNR NO 845-9537317
Dear Sir / Madam,

I Yakin Shah on behalf of Mr. Jitesh Dhirajlal Shah, wish to draw your kind and valuable attention towards the following lines.

Mr. Jitesh Dhirajlal Shah have a complain on the Indian Railways, its staff members starting from person who issues the tickets and T.T.E also.

Mr. Jitesh Dhirajlal Shah(above mentioned person) is a disabled person, have lost his eyesights morethan 75%.

Mr.Jitesh have visited to Secunderabad Jn, and said to one of your officer who issued him tickets that he have to go from Secunderabad to Dadar via Nagpur on 14-02-2010 and on 16-02-2010 he have return from Dadar to Secunderabad, and as he is disabled he will do this journey with his wife Mrs.Urmila Shah.

The officer have issued him following tickets:
From Secunderabad to Nagpur, travel date 14-02-2010 wide PNR No. 114-4181339, and further from Nagpur to Dadar travel date 15-02-2010 wide PNR No. 623-5179699.

This ticket is correct, but for the return journey your officer have issued the following ticket:
From Dadar to Secunderabad, travel date 16-12-2009, wide PNR No. 845-9537317.

Your officer have wrongly issued the return journey ticket for travel date 16-12-2009 instead of the requested travel date 16-02-2010.

Mr. Jitesh have taken the tickets and can’t check the printed dates due to his disableness. He is disabled, not having his eyesights is also informed by him to your officer who issued the tickets along with giving him Disabled Certificates at the time of purchasing the tickets.

He have safely reached to Dadar but on 16-02-2010 when he was returning from dadar to secunderabad, he have been made stand and made him moved from one bogie to another.
Just think one of the railways staff have done mistake and another railways staff making an blind man run from one bogie to another, I think this is shame for our railway. They have done injustice with humanity.

Than also the shameless T.T.E have penalized him for Rs 780, wide Excess Fare Ticket No.006801 and allotted one seat where both the passenger have adjusted to seat without sleeping the whole night. They have been also forced to buy another ticket of Rs 310/- wide ticket no : F60668587.

Sir, for this harassment, Mr.Jitesh Dhirajlal Shah wants a compensation which you should feel good for making a blind person run here and there, not giving him sleep for the whole night and along with him harassing his wife also.
It is worst than a man have been killed in an accident. Because an accident happens due to mistake, and if man dies he never gets so pain. But when a blind man have to run from here to there, from one bogie to another bogie along with his wife, it is a situation where his heart cries for being Blind.

Does our railway and the staff member of railway don’t know any lessons for humanity?

I think our senior most of Railways don’t train their staffs this silly thing?

08-02-10 ki raat mai dost ki shadi me Ghaziabad se bareilly Rexsole Express se gaya tha by chance mai GRP ke dibbe mai baith gaya usme koi information nahi thi ki ye GRP ka dibba h ..usme jab baith gaya to hapur station se do GRP wale chad gaye wo har sawari se 20 rs lene lage aur bachho aur mahilayo se to badi hi besharmi se galiyo k sath baat kar rahe the..kuch sawariyo ko to mara bhi ..train me aisa phayyukt mahaul dekh kar to mai dar gaya
mai railway aur public k samne kuch mudde uthana chahta hu

1.train me GRP ka dibba kyo lagaya jata h jab ki usme koi bhi GRP wala nahi tha..ye to sarasar loot aur kamane ka jariya h

2.GRP walo ko sabhyta sikhane ki jimmewari kiski h?

3.aise bhayyukt mahaul me hum safar kaise kare..jaha GRP wale hi dakait h.

Non issue of Platform Tickets

Sir,

my complaint is regarding non-issue of platform tickets at counter number.19 of ajmeri gate side of new delhi railway station. Today i had gone to the railway station to meet my uncle and aunt, who were travelling my BBSR rajdhani exp to BBSR. For entering the platform i had gone for one platform ticket, then i saw a board displaying in large fonts above counter number 18 to 20 about the issue of platform tickets from any of the counters in que. by reading this i standed in que for platform ticket at counter number 19. but the clerk in counter number 19, strictly refused to issue me the platform ticket and directed me to go for counter number 13, i also reminded him of the board on which it was written. it was 16:40 at that time. as the train was scheduled to depart at 17:15, still left with no option i have to stand in long que of 50 people to get one platform ticket. if this is the motto for issuing platform ticket from a single window, it's my humble request to kindly remove such flimsy boards to relieve people from harassment.

MISBEHAVIOUR&FRAUD IN RESERVATION COUNTER ON HATHIDAH JN.
TODAY (24.10.2009), I WENT FOR BOOKING OF TICKET IN JANSHTABADI EXPRESS ON HATHIDAH JUNCTION. AMAZINGLY THE PERSON WAS ON THE BOOKING CHAIR NIETHER HE WAS NOT ON DRESS, NOT WITH BADGES AND VERY BOLDLY HE WAS TAKING MONEY FROM INSIDE THE ROOM AND BOOKING TICKETS. AND WHEN I OBJECTED THE SAME HE BEHAVES LIKE A RAILWAY MINISTER AND MISBEHAVING WITH THE CUSTOMERS. AND HE TOLD ME THERE IS NO FACILTY OF TATKAL BOOKING IN JANSHATABADI AC CHAIR CAR. AND HE IS DOING BLACK MARKETING OF THOSE SEATS. WHEN WE ARE GOING TO CHANGE OUR SELVES. WILL YOU TAKE ACTION AGAINST THAT EMPLOYEE. NO ONE IS TRUSTING ON THE GOVT. EMPLOYEE I.E THE REASON.

IT' SEEMS VERY BAD IF A GOVT. EMPLOYEE ARE DOING THIS TYPE OF CHEAP THINGS. PLEASE TAKE SOME STRICT ACTION AGAINST THAT GUY WHO WAS ON DUTY ON 24.10.2009 @ 8 :15 AM. THEY ARE DOING THE MOCKERY OF THE WHOLE SYSTEM.

unhygenic ac coach
On 19.10.09 I was travelling from Varanasi Jn. to Patna by Farakka Exp. 3484 in AC III coach (coach B1 berth no. 28, 31 &32 PNR No. 2363839672). The coach was fully occupied by the passengers but the coach was over crowed by the cockroaches and rats. On demand no complaint book was made available for lodgeing the complaint.

train departure before time
Today it was a shocking that i had reached palwal railway station in morning 8. 17 A.M
The GNP ( Palwal – New Delhi – Ghaziabad ) EMU departure before time from palwal railway station even 3 minute left and train almost crossed to platform and its out of reach at 8.17 A.M.

Really sir this is very big surprised for us, we have always listen about late for Indian railway but this time before time.

GNP Actual Departure time =8.20 ( as per railway schedule) from Palwal Railway Station, but today we don’t know why pilot was in so hurry.
