Poor quality customer service
Buying an electronic item from online store. I thought in India it has started (buying online) but it seems the processes in place for online shops are still in nascent stages. I have been buying books from Indiaplaza and was satisfied with their service. But first time I bought an electronic item, the website shows 12 working days for the product. I asked customer care if there is any expedite shipping they said no. I told them I need the product earlier than 12 days they said they will try but cannot ensure. Then for 12 days I called regularly to know the status of the product but these people said its under process. After twelve days I asked them to cancel the order then they said its not available thats why they have to cancel the order. Ridiculous! They should have told me and I would have bought from somewhere else.

After canceling the order they said it will take 4 working days to refund the money. On third day I called again and they say the process has not been initiated. And it will take another three working days. This is really poor quality customer service.

Indiaplaza charged me more than the MRP
Hi,

I placed an order for Cadbury Almonds on IndiaPlaza for Rs. 200 + Rs 35 (as shipping charges). When I received the product, the MRP stated on the box says Rs 145.

I have been sending them mails for almost 10 days, and they keep stating that they need to check the price difference from the concerned department.

Can anyone please advise me how/where to lodge a complaint against them.

Shipped the mobile even after i canceled the order and my credit card got charged
I ordered a mobile phone w350i on 21st of Aug 2008 and i expected it to come by 27th. When i didn't get i called them and found out the way that mailing them to cancel the order would do the needful. I have been calling everyday, mailing them everyday to cancel my order. They pick up the phone and assure me that they would cancel it that day and that never happened. Now on 4th September i see that my consignment is shipped and my credit card charged. I canceled the order because i got a new phone as these guys were making it late. How and where do i put a complaint? Is putting a complaint on consumer court helpful? How do i proceed? Any tips would be greatful.

NON delivery of IFB microwave oven
This is regarding with the issue of the non-delivery of the IFB Microwave Oven- 17PG1S which was shipped out by indiaplaza on 12th May. I had placed an order for the same on the 2nd of May 2008 (Mother's Day Special) and as per the terms and conditions by this company, the orders are usually delivered within 4 days. Since they repeatedly ask for time and it has been a month since this issue has been going on. I would like to follow this issue up on my own and would like to let them know, that I may have to contact the CONSUMER FORUM with regard to this, if no effort is shown by this company in terms of delivering the order, in the meanwhile.

non delivery of product
Dear Sir,
I placed an order on Indiaplaza.in by order no 05022080249 on dated 5th february 2008. But i did not received my product till now. when i contacted to indiaplaza customercare they told me that your product has been delivered to you. it was sent by AFL courior by consignment no 114450149273. when i checked the AFL website it is showing delivered to Pramila on dated 16-2-2008. But here is no pramila on the address given by me for delivery. the amount has been debited from my card account and i did not received my product. Pl help me in this matter.

No information after deducting the money!
I placed an order for a boo key on INDIAPLAZA.IN however during payment first time it did not go through and when I tried it second time money was deducted from my account but still my order for which I paid is showing in canceled status. To get an update on the same when I sent an email to them they never responded and at the same time i was not able to reach them on the provided number. To get more information regarding the same I called them on the other number provided for Booking they said that they can not do any thing and I need to get in touch the same number that is 918040617000. This situation is more frustrating as after paying money I can not get the stuff above all no one is responsible.

Product not working
I bought a hand sewing machine from IndiaPlaza.in and it doesn't work. They promised me a pick up and exchange of the product but nothing has happened. They need to improve a lot.

Cheating and lethargic service
Initially they advertised that SBI Credit Card user will get a gift voucher worth Rs-400, which can be redeem for order costs more than Rs.1200. So I placed an order for 5 books almost 1.5 months back. Out of those 5 books i got only 3 books. after no. of follow ups after 1 month they replied me that those remaining 2 books are out of stocks, they ensured me that within 7 days the remaining amount(Rs 539) will be reverted back to my credit card.

But at last they reverted Rs 400 to gift voucher and remaining Rs 139 to my credit card. So the whole story is if i want to use that gift voucher once again i have to shop worth Rs 1200. The similar thing happened to even my earlier order also in which i ordered 2 books, out of those only 1 book was delivered and for other now after 2 months they are telling the book is out of stock.

I would not recommend shopping from indiaplaza to anyone.

Non delivery of books!
I ordered "Dance with the Peacock" on 14th July and they mentioned delivery in 3 days, its been 13 days and this book has not been delivered yet. They payment was taken immediately but not delivered yet. Wrote to them million times, they replied once saying we are investigating. Absolutely no respect and hopeless customer service ever i have seen in my life! Horrible customer care reps and horrible management. They are still not done anything to on the same. Please do not buy or order anything on this website. They don't deliver things, only take your money! BEWARE!!! If you are ordering anything on this website you can be sure... you HAVE LOST YOUR MONEY!!!
