Items found missing in the checked-in baggage
Complaint against Indigo Airlines Inda:

There has been a worst experience flying with Indigo yesterday.
There are precious items found missing in Check - in baggage.
Please note that the traveller look for 2 basic things apart from your advertisement of "Punctuality", namely Safety of self and luggage and Security of them.
Let me note here that the Items missing were already reported yesterday night only to your call center who had given (Executive spoken: Amit Dhavan) reference number for a complaint as the PNR number only and committed to get back to traveller by today morning. Commitment is not fulfilled.

I have requestd Indigo Customer relationship manager in a mail to get into the detail immediately and get back to us asap to avoid further escalation. Respond to the same mail ID's.

Cancellation of Ticket and no refund
I had booked a flight from Lucknow to Ahmedabad by Indigo Airways for 15.1.2010 for my wife Shashi Singh. On 14.1.2010 I was informed by representative of Indigo Airlines that the flight between Lucknow and Ahmedabad will depart late. Hence I could understand immediately that my wife will miss the Mumbai - Ahmedabad sector Indigo flight. I talked to representatives of Indigo maily with Madam Subhshree Shalini & floor representative Mr. Ajay kumar and they apprised me that my wife has no other alternative except to cancel the Mumbai - Ahmedabad Sector ticket and will be charged Rs 750 for cancellation, i.e. Pont No. 1. Secondly i will not be provided with any refund except a credit not valid for one year for the balance amount.
This tantamount to me buying a new ticket for my wife and getting no refund for earlier ticket though the flight was with the same airline and cancellation is also due to the problem at Airlines end and not the customer end.
I want to bring to the notice of all the people to take care of this in future as Airlines will not handle any complaint it is just like a train ticket and nothing else. All their advertisement for customer service is false and vague.

No cust. service
We live in NJ, USA. We recently came back from India. I had booked a flight from Hyderabad - Bangalore for 7th August 8:40 am. We went to airport and were standing in the line as there is no individual line for this flight. By the time we approached the counter, the manager said it is too late to fly now. He saw our bags and freaked out! Indeed we were carrying 4 big bags for a family of 4. He said that the luggage can not be checked-in as there is not enough time. He suggested that we can fly solo without bags (?). Finally, we had asked him to move us to the evening flight. He refused and said that our tickets are non-transferable and he can not put us on another flight. We ended up loosing 4 tickets (15K rupees). This was a devastating experience for us.
I would not recommend this airline to anyone based on my personal experience as Indigo's business practices are not professional. The managers are very inefficient handling the passenger needs. The manager was unsympathetic even though we were flying with 2 children.
I wish I never knew about this airline. I finally flew that evening coughing up another 15K by the same airline.

NOT HAPPY WITH CARD
I held a rewards 660 account never had any problems with them I was never late with any of my payments and as soon as the payments were received they were posted to my account and my credit was availible. Now that its Indigo I am having problems with them already. My payment due day for rewards 660 was for the 27th of every month scince I had not received an staement by the 19th of December because of the transition I sent my payment certified to Bank Card Services (Indigo). I call Bank Card Services on the 26th twice and ask them had they received my payment both times I was told no. So I call them the following Monday which was the 29th twice and twice I was told that they still had not received it, so I called the Post Office they informed me that it was delivered and sign for on the morning of the 26th at 9AM, they even gave me the name of the person who sign for it. I called Bank Services back they still denied receving it and told me to check back tomorrow I was very upset and told them I was going to complain to the post office. I called in the early mornig of the 30th guest what it was posted. They have already received my payment for February my credit limited is only 525, but they have it as 260. So I called about, and they said well its in the agreement that your credit line may not refelect your payment for up to 14 days, and I told them its also in the agreement that if a payment is received before 5pm Eastern Time on a normal banking it will be credited to your account. I can understand if I paid them with a check, but it was with a U.S Postal money order, so whats the problem. I use the reward 660 card to pay certain bills at the end of the month done it for two years with no problem, I could do it now but then my credit avalibility would be zero and thats what they want. In my opinion they are trouble thier reps are fast talking and rude they lie. I intend in the next few months to pay them off and end the agreement. To anyone who holds this card I suggest the same but if you are going to stay with them keep good records.
