Animal Cruelty
Sir/Madam,
On 27November at approximately1900, I witnessed a neighbour's tenant knocked down a cat while overtaking a stationary car.
The cat seemed to be pre-occupied with chasing easels.
The driver stopped and after a while the cat dragged itself onto the pavement and lay there.
The driver said that he did not have any money to pay a vet and I suggested that he take the cat to the SPCA.
I gave him directions and another neighbour, Mr.Salim agreed to accompany the driver.After much reluctance, the driver allowed Mr.Salim to accompany him.
On Monday, 29November, I spoke to Mr.Salim and was told that the cat was dropped off at the driver's friend's house who claimed to be a vet but no one has heard of a vet in that vicinity.
)n Tuesday, 30November, Ispoke to the driver and he said that the cat was already dead when he handed it to his friend, "the vet".
Mr.Salim said later that the cat was still alive when it was dropped off at "the vet's" house.
Please investigate this case of animal cruelty as someone would have sought help for the cat had it been left where it was.
The only reason no one volunteered any other help is because the driver said that he will take the cat for treatment.
I apologise for not making this complaint sooner as I have been trying the telephone numbers since Monday, 29 November and could not get through until after hours when a recorded message stated that the SPCA was closed.

BLOCK-G, POCKET-21, HOUSE NO -68, SECTOR-7, ROHINI, NEW DELHI
I am resident of Block G Pocket-21 Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi. There is an unauthorized welding workshop in our residential area which has been running for more than one decade. It starts early in the morning and runs at late night. This workshop runs even on national/gazetted holidays also.
The raw materials of welding workshop become hazardous. It creates road blockage as a result most of time it creates traffic jam. Many pedestrians as well as children got injured due to welding material. The shop owner uses Grinder most of the time, which creates lot of noise by which we are not able to study & sleep properly.
The smoke which is emitted through welding creates suffocation as well as many health diseases. The entire surrounding atmosphere gets affected. The foul smell of burning of iron spreads in the area. I am unable to use the cooler/fan because it sucks all the pollution inside the house. Even though we cannot sit outside the home/open the door because the bright streak light of welding affect our eyes. We have to keep door close to avoid bright streak lightening.
The scrap/unused waste material of welding become breeding place for mosquitoes.
He uses electricity for welding which also causes voltage fluctuation most of the times. This affects our electrical appliances.
It also creates air pollution which is affecting our health. I am suffering from Diabetic and Asthmatic problems and my wife is also suffering from heart problems.
Keeping in view the above problems, kindly take appropriate action to sort out this problem.

unwanted sms
Sir,
I am holding Airtel mobile ph No 09600404077. Recently I am receiving lot of SMS from service message section.I never opt for nay service however from Airtel SMS service they send cricket sms and other sms and charging form my balance . When I am trying to send sms to customer care no, they always sending SMS as invalid option . I am tired of such SMS .Please stop the unfair trade practice. I am fed up with Airtel unfair practice . If it continues definetly I will switch over from Airtel to some other company (not only myself I am heving three connection in my family).
Hence please do the needful

Hailu Beyero the known man of God in the midwester united states. He never flinches an inch when it comes to the word of God. In all the churches he wants things to be done according to the Bible. We really appreciate his hard work among the Ethiopian church in kansas. Let the good Lord bless him abundantly for what he does.

Returned U Verse Equipment
I have also experienced issue with AT&T and returning U-verse equipment. Why I returned the U-verse equipment is another whole story: I had with scheduling installation (they didn’t show and didn’t call) and the quality of the product (the screen would freeze for hours) but I’m over that and happily back to another cable service.
None the less, I returned the equipment in their provided boxes and the equipment was delivered and signed for by AT&T employees. 2 months later I received the first bill for the equipment asking if I had overlooked it because it was past due. I called AT&T and their representative tells me that it was a mistake and don’t know why we got the invoice and that they would take care of it. A few weeks later I receive the next invoice and a dunning letter from AT&T. This time I called and they said that they could see the equipment was returned in good condition but they had no ability to correct the amounts owed because ‘another department’ was responsible for that: and oh yes, that department does not take phone calls from customer so I couldn’t talk to them. They said they thought it would all work out eventually and reminded be how high their ratings were from JD POWERS (yeah right).
Now I have a collection agency calling me and trying to collect the money. I can’t believe that they can just turn this over to a collection agency. It is now impacting my credit rating!!. AT&T is totally incompetent and their customer service is shameful. It is almost like they are intentionally trying to harrase and irate me.
I’m cancelling my AT&T land line and warning everyone I know….

Moving scam
Please beware...
CMF movers are scammers! The name of the company might change from time to time but their contact number, 416 707 5186, typically remains the same. In order to weed these scammers out from your potential list of movers, type the phone number and it should lead you their advertisement.
These movers advertise their rates as 39$ per hour. However, on first phone contact, they will say that they will require a 300$ deposit. Should the actual work end up being less in amount, their initial promise is that you will get the difference after the move.
Their modus operandi is this:
- Show up at the day of the move.
- Ask for the 300$ deposit.
- Issue you a receipt with minimal identifying information on it i.e. business address, owner's full name, etc.
- perform a ruse of contacting the manager and will put the manager on speaker phone.
- said manager will then say to his scamming cohorts, "No, that's a big move, you have to ask for another 300$ deposit on top of the first 300$ that was given to you."
- Should you not agree to pay the extra 300$, they will pretend to concede and let this one slide.
- They will say that they will proceed with loading up the van, turn around and then make a run for it. There goes your money.
- If you do agree to pay up the extra money, they most probably will load up your furniture, leave and say that they will meet you at the unloading site. Your hair will probably turn white from all the waiting as they for sure will not turn up.
- Your furniture might end up being sold at Kijiji.
I have learned a hard lesson from this. If you are in the same situation as me who was trying to find some decent yet affordable movers, then maybe try to be more conscious of doing the following:
- ask your friends and family if they know of a decent yet affordable movers.
- if you do end up hiring somebody straight off the internet, some things that will indicate to you of their intent and professionalism:
1. they have business cards
2. they have an obvious adminsitration infrastructure when you call them up.
3. a website of their company with all identifying and contact information.
Have tried to go to the Police with this one. They will say that this is a civil matter and it is best to take this to a small claims court. That would be hard if all you have is a first name and a cell phone number.
Anyway, just thought to share this with you, prospective movers who are looking to save on moving costs.
I have learned that in life, it is at times worthwhile to fork up the extra money to get decent, honest and professional service.

Took money out of my account without my knowledge
Took Money out of my checking account without my with my knowing or signing my check. I want my money in my checking account like now. You have caused my account to be overdrawn and I want it back in my checking within the next 8 hours. I have talked to my lawyer and he said give you a chance to put the money back. If not there will be further action. Looks like I am not the only one you have done like this.
