misrepresentation of free cruise
We toured a timeshare in Door County Wisconsin and received a voucher for a free 7 night cruise after paying port fees and taxes. We mailed in check for 598.00 along with dates that we were requesting to travel. The first phone call we received from Infinity was that our 1st selection was not available. Next we received an e-mail with dates and price quotes for booking the cruise. They wanted another 670.00 for booking the cruise. I told Jody that I could book myself and choose my cabin, when I gave her the price she said they could not compete ( I don't understand because this was suppose to be a free cruise). I asked her about a refund and she explained to me what I would need to do. I again asked her if I would diffently receive the refund and she said yes. I sent in the request the end of October. I called in mid November and was told they received the request on 11/1/2010, and it was being processed. As of 12/28/10 I have still not received the refund. If I don't receive soon I am going to file a complaint with the better business bureau, along with local and state authorities. Any other suggestions?

Loan Modification Fraud
Spoke with Nick Green in December 2008 regarding a loan modification. He promised that he could not only get my loan modified, but it would be to my complete satisfaction before payment of fees. I was charged $995.00 to begin the process. $2995.00 due at its completion and my full satisfaction. Papers and forms were faxed back and forth. Time frame was to be 60-90 days. At the end of 1 month, informed that the wrong forms had been forwarded to me. More forms faxed back and forth. Multiple attempts to contact someone for an update results in numerous messages left with no response. 2 months later, connected to Jeremy Reynolds - consumer advocate. According to him, he is the watchdog for customers. Informed that the other person in charge of my file was no longer with the company. My new processor is named Elizabeth. Elizabeth stated that my file was in underwriting. Within 2-3 weeks, Elizabeth is no longer with the company. Now Kahala is in charge. Kahala states that he will contact me once a week until modification is complete. He is in direct contact with my mortgage company. Kahala is replaced within 2 weeks. Never received that weekly call. Now the processor is named Kelly Jennings. Spoke with Kelly, who has a very bad attitude, informed that it was going to take a little longer - 2-3 more months. According to Kelly, she needed some more forms (same ones faxed before). In the meantime, I received loan modification papers from my lender. According to Kelly, it was because of her hard work. She then offered to reduce my balance by $1000.00 if I would hurry and pay. I told her I would pay balance after I verified her involvement and input with my mortgage company. She then became belligerent. Jeremy Reynolds joined in stating that Kelly was the company's best processor and that I owed them $2995.00, but if I would pay immediately, $1995.00. He also became belligerent and threatened to block my loan mod if I didn't pay. I became belligerent...I don't take to kindly to threats. I just wanted to verify their involvement. Needless to say, my mortgage company denied any contact with any of them. I called and left them a message on their answering machines; have not heard from them since. So I guess, Nick Green or whoever got away with the inital $995.00, and the others were trying to get theirs. This company should be made to return all fraudulent fees, since they do nothing but blow smoke.
