repairs took 2.5 months
An accident accured on April 27th 2011.. Took it to one of their shops in LA, a guy in a cast on his arm and a cigarrette in his mouth got into my car to look at the mileage, my wife has asthma. So i took it to my shop considering the 20%, at least the work is going to be done. A week an adjuster was coming out to look at the car. After body work was done, the car wouldn't go into reverse, took it to their shop, he couldn't diagnose it, took it to the dealer. 11 days till adjuster came out again, that was fixed. Driving out of the dealer, some noices appeared on right side while making a right turn, back to their shop. Guy test drives and says you gotta replace the shocks( car was hit on left front). I didn't agree with him took it to the dealer again.. It's the entire steering rack/Rack&Pinion that's cracked and needs to be replaced. 8 days wait for adjuster, 3-4 days parts and work of 2.. While all that goes on, rental is only for 30 days, so rest of the time i'm paying rental.. After the car is finally done and ready, they wrote an estimate at the dealer, and minused the $20%. So, rental car for 42 days, the enitial deductible$ 1000, 00, and paid the dealer "co-pay" $ 530.00... Do the math.. Never again

DONT ANSWER OR RETURN YOUR CALLS, ALL HE SAID SHE SAID, NOTHING BUT LIES, THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO PAY
I resently rear ended someone who was insured with infinity insurance on 1/21/2011. I am being honest and admiting i am the one at fault. to get to the point the vehicle was insured but i was listed as an excluded driver meaning i am not on the insurace to drive the vehicle there for our insurance would not cove any damages to either vehicle. i have been given the run around with infinity insurace. randall torres is in charge of the caims dept in the fort worth area. he told me because i am not covered im going have to pay her $1000 deductable. her damages were 2664.89 they gave her a check for 1664.89 and i would have to pay the $1000. Randall is soooo unprofesinal. i called him for weeks straight leaving him numerous messages and he never once called me back. before him not returning my phone calls i spoke to him about 3 times and my dad spoke with him twice. he told the woman we hit he has never spoken to us at all or our insurance which is a huge lie, i even gave him my statement saying i am at fault! he advised her bc of our incooporation she needs to get a lawyer and file a lawsuit to get her deductable!!! she would call our home phone like 5 times a day angry bc no one has contacted her at all. i asked randall what do i do about her calling bc im trying to go about this the right way through insurances. he told me do not answer any of her calls. then he tells her bc were not answering her calls to sue me. now bc i am a excluded driver and the insurance wont cover damages they have to send the claim to the subrogation dept which will let me know how to pay the 1000. randall told me someone in that dept would contact me in about a week. well a week goes by and nothing. so i call randall but he wont answer my calls. i call him a week sttraight and nothing! i decide to call the woman i hit personaly to let her know whats going on and how her insurance was acting twords me. she said not even her insurance had been keeping in contact with her or returning her calls thats why she had been calling us non stop. i told her im not trying to avoid this situation i just want to get this over and done with as fast as i can. i told her what randall had told me when we actually did speak at the very beging of all this and she said he was telling her the EXACT OPPISITE!! all she wants is her deductable. well i call randall back bc im pissed. again no answer. when i finally get ahold of him i ask him to transfer me to his supervisor and he gives me such a hard time. he hassles me for a reason why. i told him its regarding my claim and he says what about so i tell him againg its about my claim. he refuses and continues asking why i need to speak to her and once i tell him why he will transfer me. so i tell him its to complain about him. now that i tell him y i want to talk to her he still wont transfer me. omg im super pissed. i explain to him y i am making a complait about him and he says all he can to cover his butt and point the finger at the woman we hit blaming her for everything! what an unprofessional ass. he gives me her number and i speak with her. her name is stacy and she really wasnt that much of a help. they gave me the number to the woman incharge of subrogation and i speak to her and she tells me they sent me to collections because i havnt paid!!! im like wtf! it has not even been a month since the accident and they havnt even given me a chance to pay or even let me know what i need to pay and they automatically send me to collections. im so angry. she said she sent me a letter letting me know what i owe on feb 12. (i spoke with her on the 17th) turns out they have the wrong address! well she says i dont owe 1000 for her deductable i owe the insurance 2664.89! i suposibly need to pay the deductable and pay back infinity for giving her a check for 1664.89 for her damages!! all the woman i hit wants is her deductable nothing else, we were told from the begining all we need to pay is the deductable so why are they saying we need to pay all of that. well the lady in subrogation named edith rocco said if i knew from the begining that my insurance denied the claim then i should have paid at the begining! but everyone with infininty told me i had to wait for her to contact me! i am sooo confused and dont know what to believe or whats true. i dont know waht to do. this is the worst insurance company ever everyone please stay away. they lie to your face!

Infinity Short Changes Valid Claim for Rental Reimbursement
Late last summer (2010) I was rear-ended by an Infinity Insurance customer while I sat parked at a red light. The Infinity Insurance adjuster never showed so I placed the claim through my own insurance carrier (State Farm). I then took my car to a Dealer Collission Center and spent $1, 500 out of my pocket for a rental car durin the 19 days my car was in the shop. State Farm wouldn't pay for the rental car as I did not have rental coverage on my State Farm policy. So I sent a letter to Infinity Insurance Co. who denied $300 of the claim citing "excessive repair period." After I received this denial letter I read Infinity Property & Casualty Co. latest Quarterly Report which states "Infinity Insurance provides personal insurance products with a concentration on nonstandard auto insurance... nonstandard auto insurance is generally undertood to mean coverage for drivers who, because of their driving record, age or vehicle type, represent higher than normal risks and pay higher rates for comparable coverage... Despite a weak economy, the Company continued to enjoy strong growth in written premiums. The third quarter of 2010 marks the fourth consecutive quarter that the Company has experienced growth in written premiums. The third quarter and first nine months of 2010 benefited from $16.8 million and $53.8 million, respectively, of favorable development on loss and LAE reserves compared to $13.2 million and $33.4 million of favorable development for the same periods of 2009. Bodily injury and property damage coverage in California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas and Connecticut as well as the Commercial Vehicle product related to accident years 2009, 2008 and 2007 drove favorable development during 2010. The Company believes that the favorable development recognized in 2010 has occurred as lower paid development patterns continue to emerge because of an increase in the claims settlement tempo over the last several years." In other words Infinity Insurance specializes in selling personal auto insurance to drivers who otherwise could not get insurance, then use the underwriting process to delay and deny claims to increase their profitability. So, I filed a Small Claims action agains their "NonStandard" driver and Infinity Insurance Co. scheduled for Small Claims hearing February 2011

Retarded reasons for claim denial
My 2008 Infinity G37 was vandalized early this month. The 4 wheels were stolen. I received a case number from the local police and a claim number from Infinity Insurance. Several days later I was visited by and adjuster to view the car. I was told by Infinity Insurance that a check for the replacement wheels was on its way.. After not receiving the check after 3 weeks I called them and was told the claim was denied. Their reason ? The car could have had after market wheels. In order for them to reconsider the claim they require that I submit dated photos of the car showing what wheels were on it. I have photos of my car prior but not dated.
Warning to all avoid insuring your cars with Infinity unless you enjoy getting royally screwed over.

Refused to return calls
I was involved in an accident with an individual who was insured by Infinity Insurance on 4/7/10. Since the accident I have left daily messages for the claims rep assigned to my claim and never received a call back. After one week of daily messages, I left several messages for her supervisor which were never returned. I have decided to go through my own insurance company for repairs and have them deal with reinbursement from Infinity. What a nightmare company. I feel sorry for anyone who has to rely on this company to take care of them in a time of need. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!

FRAUDULENT CHARGE
I sent the following letter to the CEO of infinity insurance after a horrible experience I had with them today. Can anyone comment on what you think may happen from this, if anything? Thanks.
I am writing this letter in regard to a very disappointing, and disturbing experience that I encountered with the on line payment processing of Infinity. On Dec. 1, 2009, I logged on to my on line Infinity account to make my monthly installment payment, which I have been doing for several months now. On this day, I clicked the link labeled “Make payments”, which brought me to a screen asking for a credit card, or check payment; I clicked credit card (again, as I always do), which brought me to a screen showing “Current amount due $86.96”, below, I entered my debit card information and clicked the link labeled “Process Installment Payment”. After clicking this link, a new page came up showing “Thank you for your payment of $732.00. “ Not only did I not authorize this dollar amount, but it was also not shown anywhere on the form I filled out on line, the only dollar amount shown was my normal $86.96 monthly installment amount.
I immediately called Infinity, and spoke to someone by the name of Stanely Moore, and explained the severity of the situation, and explained that this is more than my entire pay check that I had just recently deposited into my bank account about 30 minutes prior to making this payment. After Mr. Moore told me he could reverse the payment, and it would take approx. 2-3 days for the funds to go back into my account, I explained to him that I now have absolutely NO money in my bank account to make it through my everyday life, TO INCLUDE taking care of my wife and two small children for the next unknown amount of days until I receive my money back in my account. I also explained that not only was this debit of my account wrong and unethical, it was also down right illegal. I demanded that I receive my money back immediately, and he explained that it could not be done, but he'd do what he could to expedite the process. I than told Mr. Moore that I feel because of this despicable situation, I should receive some sort of compensation due to not only the hardship that this has obviously caused, but also due to the fact that my debit card was illegally withdrawn almost 9 times the dollar amount that I authorized. When asked what I meant by compensation, I suggested some sort of discount on my policy, and he explained that he could not make that happen, and that I'd have to send a letter to a Ms. Helen Crenshaw.
The situation that myself and my family have been put into by your company is something that I cannot explain, and something that may not be able to be understood by someone who does not have to worry about their family financial budgets and etc. I now not only do not trust making a payment on line to your company, but your companies integrity in general is now in question because of this. Assume for a moment that someone in a better financial situation than myself had this happen to them, and they didn't immediately notice the almost $800 out of their bank account; what would you have done than? Just let it go as if nothing was out of the ordinary? What would your shareholders think of a company illegally taking one of their customers entire bank account from them, and than trying to remedy it simply by saying “we're sorry, we'll try to get you the money back as soon as you can”. I feel as though some compensation is due to my family and I for the hardships that this has caused, and I would hope that you feel the same way. I would also hope that if you do not believe that I should be so upset with the current situation, that you would direct me to the next higher level this letter should be directed to; I'm assuming that since this letter is addressed to the CEO of the company, that the level above this one would be the public, and the company shareholders/board of directors. I appreciate the time you took to read my letter, and I would hope that you consider my situation as a top priority, to include investigating why I was charged almost nine times more than what I authorized to be charged on my debit card. Thank you in advance for your time.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH DRAMA!
I GOT REAR ENDED BY ONE OF THEIR CLIENTS LAST WEEK, AND I HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED HOME BECAUSE MY CAR WOULD NOT START. I CALLED INFINTY THE FOLLOWING DAY TO REPORT THE ACCIDENT, AN ADJUSTER WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME WITHIN 24-48 HRS. ( they never called) AFTER 3 DAYS I FINALLAY CALLED TO CHECK THE STATUS ON THE CLAIM AND WAS DIRECTED TO A GUY NAMED HERBERT HERNANDEZ, TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE IF YOU GET THIS ADJUSTER, INSTANTLY ASK FOR ANOTHER BECAUSE THIS GUY WILL SEND YOU ON THE RUN AROUND FOR NO REASON. HE TOLD ME IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET A RENTAL CAR I NEEDED TO PROVE TO HIM THAT THE DAMAGE FROM THE ACCIDENT CAUSED MY CAR NOT TO START, AND THE REASON I NEED TO DO THIS WAS BECAUSE HE DON'T KNOW IF MY CAR WAS SOME KIND OF BUCKET, BEFORE THE ACCIDENT. SO I HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED TO THE SHOP, AND THEN HAVE THE SHOP GIVE A PRINT OUT. AFTER ALL THIS 4 DAYS LATER I PROVE HIM WORNG AND FINALY GOT THE RENTAL. THE APPRAISER SAID THEY WERE GOING TO TOTAL OUT THE CAR AND WILL CALL ME WITHIN 24-48 HRS. I END UP HAVING TO CALL THEM 4 DAYS LATER AND HERB TELLS ME. UNLESS I CAN GET ALL THE RECEIPTS MY CAR IS ONLY WORTH 1, 250!!! OMG! I PUT MORE THAN IN THE MOTOR. SO NOW IM FED UP AND I AM CALLING LAWYER. I FEEL THIS IS RIDICULOUS

policy fee
Hi.. my name is Tom Rozsa policy# 01736319900.. I just got off the phone with one of your reps. I was inquiring about the $34.00 policy fee which appears on my renewal notice. If I already have a policy and simply wish to continue doing business with Infinity with no changes in the policy why do I have to pay $34.00 to continue.. Is this a new method of thanking the customer for there loyalty and continued patronage.. I would like to have the policy fee removed
thank you for your assistance TOM ROZSA

Double Billing
In August 2008 we took out a commercial vehicle policy on our truck. January 209 a motorist ran into one of our trucks. We were told that someone would come out and investigate. Instead all they did was pay the claim. So much for honesty and customer service, that was enough. According to there policy you are required to give a 30 day notice. We complied, only to be billed an additional installment without any advanced notice or anything in writing stating the purpose for the additional payment. We were also informed at the time of cancellation by one of their employees that there would be no additional billing.
Once we had received notice of the additional payment we contacted customer service to speak with a manager only to be refused and insulted by one of there employees.
We then sent them a certified letter May 26, 2009 only to receive a notice from a collection company dated June 8, 2009.
The notice indicates a cancellation date of April 14, 2009 when the policy was in fact cancelled March 9, 2009.
I have read the other complaints and I believe this is a kind of scam they run on there customers. Caveat emptor!
