NOTICE THEY GET NEW DEBIT CARD INFO SOMEHOW EVEN IF YOU CANCEL YOUR OLD ONE...BE CAREFUL
I never signed up for this "free" credit report. I started getting charges in March of 09. Didn't know they were charging me $14.95 per month until Sept of 09 until I had 3 overdraft fees. I called them and they wouldn't refund me anything. So I cancelled my debit card and was issued a new one.
Here I am again in Jan 2010 and they started charging me again in October 09, they charged me twice, one for Sept and another for Oct.
I called them and Dana refused to help me and I was even trying to be nice. She wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor either.
I asked how they got my new debit card number and she said that it automatically updates to the new debit card. "THAT IS NO WORD OF A LIE"
I was like "WHAT" It was bad enough I lost all of the charges from March 09 till Sept 09, and now they continued to charge me even after I cancelled my debit card. How they got the new number is beyond me. Now I have to change all of my account numbers and this entire ordeal for something I never even knew I had, or even printed out (credit report) or never received updates regarding my credit report. They were not even giving me a service that I supposedly signed up for.
This entire ordeal has cost me tons of time on the phone and searching e-mails. Cancelled 2 debit cards had to change all my bill pays to the new debit numbers and now because they get your new debit number, I had to close my account. What a nightmare.
This mess has cost me 289.50 in 9 months.
This is an outrage. They need to be stopped.
