Here we go again with ING Bank. My client in England insisted it had deposited a payment to my ING account... twice in fact, but nothing ever turned up in my account over a two month period.
I finally discovered, after calling the bank, that ING accepts no foreign deposits . . . but they never bothered to tell me they had rejected the deposits, nor does any such information appear on their Web site.
The supervisor with whom I spoke, Nicole, at first lied to me, and insisted that ING does not accept electronic payments, only checks. When I pointed out that I have been receiving payments from customers for quiete some time, she admitted her "misstatement."
This is not the first time that I've had problems with this no-service bank. They failed to follow instructions to roll over a deposit, admitted the mistake, and did nothing to make up for the lost money.
They're like that ad about bad customer service... trained to say "no!"
Expect little and get less from ING.
