My son worked for Ingles in Commerce, Georgia for almost 2 years. To make a VERY long short, he was fired (after months of trying to get something on him) for picking up a doughnut that had fallen on the floor in the bakery, wiping it off, and eating it...The lady in the bakery was about to throw it away and she told him he could have it. This was considered stealing. He got fired, she got wrote up. This came after months of verbal treatment from the customer service manager over the frontend as well as the manager. Complaints were made to the home office, the district manager, and the store manager and nothing was ever done. I now have letters to the EEOC, Better Business Bureau, Ingles Market Personnel Manager, Ingles Market Head District Manager, and our local Chamber of Commerce. Ingles as usual has responded in NO WAY. Everything is my sons fault! They treat the teenagers that work for them horrible. If they don't like you they will ride you until you quit or find a way to fire you. They jump on these kids in front of customers. NO ONE WILL DO ANYTHING!!! I did not want my son to quit because he was saving for college. They finally found a way to justify getting rid of him: stealing a $.50 doughnut that was dropped on the floor that could not be sold to a customer! Of course they claim they had different things on him -- well all I can say is prove it. The days he was out sick we DID have doctors excuses. If I could say one thing to mothers with teenagers -- do not let your children work for a place that ignores problems like this! Your child could be next!

I use to work at the Ingles at Woodland Hills. My son still works there. He works at night in the deli department. There are a few day shift workers that leave alot of stuff for night shift to do that they could or should of done. They should do there DISHES but they leave them along with alot of other things for nightshift to do. The night shift is suppose to get everything cleaned up by 9 pm, but with them doing their job and dayshifts stuff, they don't get out on time. My son has been making sandwiches for a long time there and now he got a verbal warning about sandwiches!!! It is probably because they just interviewed some people and are going to can some of the workers. I am so glad that I got out of there before the new deli manager came in. It sure was working alot better with the old manager. I think that some of those deli workers need to quit milking and get their jobs done instead of putting it off on someone else.

store manager is clocking him self in and out to go play in pool tourments. sexual conduct, one 16 year old cashier quit because jackie golden your store mgr. does nothing but use explicit lang, sexual mis conducy. i thought none of this was supposed to be allowed. he is tipping off employees when they get a random drug screen. so he gives them time to get there system cleaned out.letting people work off the clock and he knows and still looks the other way. no employee in te store will tell on him because they are affraid of getting fired. now you tell me how you can let things go on n your store. while he is suppose to be working he is playing pool and all the employees know but are afraid to tell. he also left the store after closing and followed michelle jones around the store stalking her.trying to get her to have sex with him.

Over the past 2 months I have been at the Ingles in Barnesville Ga @ had the Ingles Brand of dog to break before we had it loaded. The last time, one week ago I was going to purchase the food and the bag I picked up was taped together, it had broken as well and food missing. I have as well witnessed other patrons loading the same food and the bags bursting. I have lost food in the parking lot and had to scrape up what I could. I do work for a company that could ensure no broken bags. therefore no customer complaints of this sort.; Exopack 770-227-4573 ask for George Warren.

The bakery dept is really dirty. The manager stated he fired all the ex employees, but kept some that had been there a while. They don't know what they are doing and the place is filthy. The pans seem to never get washed, the glass cases are dirty and i heard the fry vat, proofer and exhaust system was torn up and the sprayer for the cakes. I got a cake the other day and is was a very poor sight for hanna montana. Something needs to be done about this dept. They have a new woman who seems to know what needs to be done, but i heard them say she only gets 4 hrs. a day. Well she needs to be there all the time. I heard some of the staff state she was trained at another store so maybe you need to consider her instead of what you got. I am not one to complain, but when you see and hear things its them to do something about bad business.
