am receiving e mails-'purportedly' from HM inland Revenue& customs, to claim the excess tax paid Refund, directly into the account holding bank.
the information looks 'plausible' as i m awaiting a tax refund myslef. it states a sum waiting to be despatched. on clicking, however, it seeks to enter ALL ^ DIGITS of Internet Security of the bank!raising suspicion, my bank HSBC aks only a Random 3 digits.how the agnecy got hold of a refund figure also needs to be probed, so inncoent tax payers do not duped, thinking its an authentic communication from HMRS. thanx fr ur advise
