It is a disservice for the telephone services and service processing families and friends have received for the support of loved ones in incarceration. The dragging activation process for prepaid services, the amounts paid for the services, and the options and strategies used for limitations of services are herendous. Although GTL has the right to gain revenue in this manner, there should be a cap on pricing and competitors. As consumers, regardless of geographic location, other options are needed since consumers will be responsible for billing either way. It is a disgrace on the rules and policies to allow inmates to reach their families. I am in hopes that things will change. Things don't seem too bright on their part because much money has been made but the services are not grade A nor is the customer service and support, so being a downfall in the business world, I don't foresee this lasting too long as a correctional facility provider in some geographical locations. It is sad, so, so, sad the way consumers wait for services to speak with their loved ones, plus pay the outrageous fees (sad).
