I made the mistake of signing with this company to sell my timeshare in mid-June. The salesman, Calvin Summers, informed me that he had a buyer for my unit, and looked forward to "working with me over the next 30-45 to the conclusion of a successful sale". I was an idiot and signed a contract, agreeing to pay them $1, 999.00.
About July 15th, after I hadn't heard a word from anyone at Innovative Resorts, I called the number listed on their website. Yvonne Maquire informed me that they had not received my contract until July 7th, and that they had only "potential" buyers. At that point, I did my (belated) research, and found many complaints about this company being scam artists.
Using the contact form on their website, I sent repeated emails to the company, most of which began with "Hello Scammers!" Please note that at no time was I offensive, I did not curse, nor did I make threats. I did call them scam artists and thieves. I received phone calls after each email (within 24 hours or so) from Ms. Maquire, who would not let me explain anything. I could barely get in a word. Her response to any potential question I had was to speak louder and interrupt me. Since I was getting no answers (particularly when I started receiving additional calls from the same company with the same phone numbers stating that they had sold my timeshare while Ms. Maguire continued to insist that they hadn't even done the paperwork yet), I continued to send emails.
Those emails culminated in this, an email I received from Ms. Maguire when I informed them via their website, that I would be seeking a refund of fees paid:
I will not continue to entertain your emails. You will NOT be refunded. The cancellation period was within 48 hrs of your receipt of the Contract which you signed and returned. Feel free to hard copy whoever you'd like as you will NOT be receiving a refund from us. Since you are being so difficult and not allowing us to do our job to sell your unit, I have withdrawn the title request and have advised Calvin Summers to place the buyers with a different unit at your resort. We will put your unit out for promotion until you decide to cooperate.

In short, if this company is not a scam artist but is, instead, a legitimate company, they have the world's *worst* customer service representative. For that reason alone, I would advise anyone considering doing business with them to run the other way.
