Unauthorized debit
I made an online purchase from Newport News 2 years ago (Feb 2009). This thing came up about insider pass & advised if I joined I would get a packet & coupons, so I joined. It did not specify anywhere on their site that I would be billed monthly. I have realized that they have been taking $14.95 out of my account monthly and I want that money back. I called customer service and they are only willing to refund half. I never received anything in the mail or any further emails. This is a scam and action needs to be taken.

fraudulent debit
I once bought an item of clothing from Newport News, and used my Visa debit card to pay for it. Since then, I have, on three occasions, been charged $14.95 to my debit card for membership in something called Insider Pass. I never subscribed to such a group, and never authorized these charges. This company has reversed the charges, but the whole outfit is a fraud. I have had to change my debit card number and have it reissued so they can no longer do this to me.
Do not fall for this and check your bank and credit account statements carefully!!

Unauthorized Charges
This is such a rip off, bullshit company. Have been charged $14.95 for 5 months =$74.75. I NEVER received information about an "account" I set up...NEVER received "free shipping" or anything...I hate "special offers" like this and will NEVER purchase ANYTHING again from NEWPORT NEWS as they are "partnered" with this company and can't do ANYTHING to help me!!! I used my boyfriends charge card for purchase and the account was put under his name as he is the card holder and now they can't help me without his consent!!! I'll be contacting The Better Business Bureau as well.

Fraudulent actions
I ordered a clothing item from Newport News Online in November 2009. That is all I needed. I didn't think I was getting anything else except for the clothing which I paid express shipping charges on due to needing it in a hurry. I just received my bank statement and there were 2 deductions for this Insider Pass. I called the number on my bank statement, first thing they ask is if you would like to cancel your membership. Hell yes I want to cancel my membership, I didn't even know what I was a member of. I gave my phone number and they looked up my account and stated it was cancelled effective today, they gave me a confirmation number, which I have definitely recorded. I then called back to talk to someone to find out what this membership was about, the company was closed, as it is Saturday. I will be calling back during business hours to make sure they have cancelled this. I used to order a lot of clothing 0nline from Newport News, They have one UNHAPPY customer now, I am not sure I will ever do business with them again after this scam.

Did not authorize
I DID NOT authorize Newport News, or Insider Pass to debit my credit card. I would not have requested this pass as I already belong to a club that provides discounts on dining and travel. If anyone decides to start a class action suit, COUNT ME IN!!!

internet theft
9 pounds ans 42 pence was stolen by this company from my account, in a fradulent and completely unauthorised withdrawal fro my account on 20th October 2009. I want it back. If it is not refunded within 1 month, I intend to take legal action.

Monthly Charges
I receive a monthly charge on my Newport-News statement for Insider Pass, and cannot find any way to cancel this. I do not want this, and do not want to pay for it. Newport-News refuses to credit.
