DO NOT WORK FOR THIS EMPLPOYER! First, this person likes to call you at all hours of the day to request that you make her stupid nail appointments when she could have just called herself instead of spending the time calling me. I don't know if she is on a power trip, lazy, or incompetent but its one of the three and none are good. Two, she asked me to work at the last minute during the weekend when she knew I had a major school assignment to do. When I told her I could not do it she told me to not come back to work until my classes were over (two weeks). A few days later, I start receiving nasty text messages and emails about how I've ruined her business for not being there and that she is going to reprimand me for missing work. Considering that I never asked for time off and SHE GAVE IT TO ME! - She had no valid right to reprimand me. Furthermore, I returned to work for her five days after I had a baby, never asked for a vacation in the six months I worked for her, and worked some weekends to help her during last minute projects. And this is how she treats me??? Still, she has two other employees that rarely come into the office and constantly take vacations and she NEVER reprimands them. Third, when I came to the office a few days after quitting, she was not there (she never is), so I went in to leave my keys on her desk, get my last paycheck, and get "my" stuff from my desk. The next day, I am getting text messages from her saying that she is going to press charges against me for unlawful entry. For what?? Returning keys??? This is the same woman who leaves both her house and office unlocked when she leaves town and entrusted me with her personal accounts. And now she is accusing me of being a thief???? She knows damn well that I entered the office with good intentions and she is just pissed off that I left her to make her own nail appointments. I am ashamed that I ever worked for her and I would advise anybody to thinly twice before accepting employment with this company.
