I bought a car from InpsectaCar Morgan Motors on Beyers Naude Drive, Johannesburg. I paid R2000 for an AA check but within 3 weeks, it would not start. After paying R450 for a part & R200 for installation & renting a car for R350 it worked.
3 weeks after this, the same thing happened. I called Frikkie, Manager of Morgan Motors InspectaCar who told me to bring the car in on Monday & he would lend me a car. I was told the "error code was still on the engine computer & would need to be reset" & the ignition cannot read the code in a key if it hasnt been used for a while.
Believing this nonsense, I drove my car away. Not even a week after this, on the Sunday the same thing happened. I called Frikkie again who continuously spoke over me as he was annoyed that I dare call him & ended the conversation "dont ever call me on a weekend again!" & hung up.
Is this the type of service you would expect from the manager of " fastest growing pre-owned vehicle franchise operations in the South Africa" (as quoted from their website)? I think not!
Additionally, the "courtesy" car was not roadworthy, it kept stalling, the petrol gauge didnt work & the accelerator pedal was not stuck down.
