My husband and I signed a contract with Install America to replace our LEAKING roof on March 23 for $5, 450. They set an appointment to come out and measure the house during which we were told we both had to be home. My husband took off work to stay home and the guy didn't even knock on the door when he came by, claiming that "It looked like no one was home" while there were 3 cars in the driveway. Today, May 3, we get a call from them saying that they can't do the work for the price agreed upon, that it is in the fine print they can change that quote at any time (even AFTER charging us 1/3 of the price as a deposit) and that the price will now be $7, 900.

THE INSTALLER CAME OUT TO PUT IN 10 WINDOWS IN MY HOME, ONE PERSON TO PUT IN 10 WINDOWS, HE WAS NICE, ALWAYS VERY POLITE ONE OF THE WINDOWS WAS THE WRONG SIZE AND HE HAD TO COME BACK, I HAVE YET TO SEE THEM. THE DAY THAT THE INSTALLER WAS TO COME BACK OUT HE GOT A FLAT TIRE, SAID THAT HE WAS GOING TO RESCHEDULE FOR 2 WEEKS LATER I HAD TO WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR THE MISSED APPOITMENT. WHEN I PAID THEM THE FIRST CHECK I HAD TO CALL AND SEE WHEN THEY WHERE GOING TO SCHEDULE THE INSTALLATION. I STARTED TO LOOK AROUND AT THE WINDOWS AND IT IS MOLDING MISSING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE WINDOWS, DEBRIE FROM THE OLD WINDOWS LEFT AND SCREENS MISSING OUT OF THE WINDOWS. GOOD THING IS THEY STILL ARE WAITING FOR THE LAST PAYMENT I MAY HAVE TO RESCHEDULE THE LAST PAYMENT IF THEY FINALE COME. LAST PAYMENT IS NOT A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY,

Very poor quality craftmenship of the deck. The job should have been completed in June. Still not done. The owner of the company told me they would come out on Friday October 24th and fix everything. No show! NO call! Monday 10/27/08 I get a phone call saying they dropped the ball. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. Attitude and Quality reflect leadership. But they got their money so what do they care. I've been had.
