I suppose it was our fault for not checking the small print, but we missed a flight from Athens due to a (separate and independently booked) flight on a different carrier being canceled due to technical reasons. Stranded on a Greek island - not as nice as it sounds unfortunately! We were not covered (domestic flights not being considered public transport).The person on the phone was not sympathetic to our plight, merely stating, 'sorry sir you're not covered!'. Looking at the other reviews we'd probably have had to fork out for another 10 plane tickets to sort out the mountain of paperwork required even had we been covered.
