deduct R 560.99 Ffrom account and no books received
good day
i need my learning material from intec for diploma in financial accounting.They already deduct money from my bank account i need assitance asap or else i will reverse the debit order and ask my bank to remove intec college from my debtors

INTEC College is rude and support is non-existent
After my 6th email and 1mil phone call to you in more than 1 year without any response, I just cannot take this anymore.I have been trying to phone you on every number I could find, but there is no answer, as I keep listening to music for hours.I even phoned the 0800- number I originally used, but the lady who answered completely REFUSED to assist me.I have also phoned your PE, Joburg and Cape Town branches, but they just say 'I don't know anything - I cannot help you, phone a Student Consultant' - that's their exact words.So finally I got a new number for someone named Dylan in Cape Town, but that phone also just 'rings' for hours on end.
My wife and I simply wanted to update our details, but have struggled for 1year+ We have also noticed an error in our statements, as it seems that you have not entered some of our payments (which we pay faithfully every month) into your system, so our statements reflect 'outstanding payments', which we paid. We have tried to rectify this problem with you as well, but seeing that you do not answer your phones, nor reply to any emails and your Virtual Campus is also not working anymore, this seems pretty impossible.

Miscommunication, false promises, sloppy work
In the last week of January 2010 I sent off the last of my forms to Intec, applying for the Wedding Planner course. At first contact was good, but then it started dying. On Feb 3rd I was promised my confirmation of enrollment would be sent 'shortly'. Almost a month later, I'd heard nothing from my student consultant. I eventually got so ****** that I asked to be transferred to someone who could help me, as I couldn't afford to be calling all the time from Sweden about books etc. At the same time that I was transferred, I found out my books had been delayed for a month because 'of a problem with my postal code'. I had paid extra for air freight for my study materials, as surface mail would take 3 months... sure enough, my books were sent surface mail. Thankfully, Shakier Achmat, whom I'd been transferred to, said he'd courier the first 3 modules to me so that i could begin studying. No such luck. I received half of my course, books from random modules, and the very first book missing. So I emailed again, asking for the first book. Again, wrong book was sent... I got the last one instead.
Intec, PLEASE get your act together!!! It's now 3 months and counting, and unacceptable!

No study material after 3 months
I enrolled my son in December for a course at Intec College. Today alone I phoned 31 times from my cellphone to Intec (Cape town branch) without any results.I was put on hold most of the time. He didn't receive any study material as yet.
They make promises every day to come back to us, but nobody ever comes back.
He applied for a studyloan and the bank want results at the end of March, but he doesn't have any studymaterial.
Please help!!!

No study material... after almost 60 days
I registered at Intec at the end of February, I was sent an email stating that I will receive my study material within 21 days. I paid my deposit as well. I called Intec after receiving no replies from my 'student advisor' Mabuso Khumalo. I was i nformed by Intec that my application was only sent in (by him I assume) on the 29th March!!! And I therefore have to wait for 21 days from this date! I then called to check on my books on 18th April and was told that they are out of stock and only have sent 2 books but dont have tracker number, I was told they will sms it to me but nothing yet. I then received 2 books in the post yesterday for Accounting 3!!! WHich is of no use right now as I need to start studying Accounts 1. The lady I spoke to (Salma) said that should I not finish my course within the 24 months, I can ask Intec for an extension which I will not pay for as they have delayed my studies by not giving me my material on time. Wht didnt they tell me at registration BEFORE they collected my deposit, that they dont have the material right now? Can I cancel at this stage? I need to know as I can sit back and keep calling Intec and hold on for 30 minutes at a time!!!

Worst service ever imaginable
I have been trying to get hold of the call center for 3 weeks now. I have been on hold for hours at a time. And yet my call has still not attended to. I managed to get hold of someone at the Head office in cape town, named Clayton. after the switchboard operator at this number placed me on hold for extremely long periods of time 021 417 6700 her name is Ally. She will not let u know the person is not able to take the call instead she will place you on hold again and again listening to that hideous music for ever. Let us not stretch how rude she is. Clayton returned my call promising to get in-touch again and after a week and numerous messages left with Ally no one returned my call.
I have tried to speak to the following people for some assistance considering I paid all my money and receive no service and no answer just hold music. Zanelle, Theo, Clayton and someone named Laqaan. Left messages NO ONE CALLS. Call center does not answer. Not even to speak about there head office. The lady at the switchboard puts the phone down in your ear and always puts you back on hold. This is a disgrace. If i knew this I would safe myself the aggravation. Do not study with them!!!

No book, no feedback for more then 4 months
I enrolled with Intec in Jan for the second time this year in a course. To date I have not even recieved my student card, I am suppose to get +- 40 books but only have 3. I phone every week and every time I am told the system is down or they will phone me back. Yesterday I phoned again as 4 months have past and I could not even start with any assingments due to not having books and I was told at 14:30 they will phone back and I am still waiting. I feel this poor service as I only have a limited time to do the course in so now I have 4 months less due to poor service. And just to top it all I recieved an account which says I did noy pay my account BUT IT WENT OFF A DEBIT FOR THE LAST FOUR MONTHS!!! I am really unhappy that I am disadvantage and feel that they should extent my course by the 4 months I lost and to sort out the account.

Waiting 6 weeks for study material & refund
I registered and paid on the 2nd March at the Cape Town Branch for 2 Matric subjects. Later the same day they contacted me and told me that I could only do 1 of the subjects and they would refund me the balance. That was the last I heard from them.
I was also told that my study material would arrive within 21 days of registering, but to date ( 6 weeks later) I have recieved nothing.
I have tried contacting them several times via telephone but could not get anybody to help me. I just get transferd from one person to another and nobody will take responsibility. This has cost me a fortune in cell phone charges. My e-mails are also ignored.
They seem to be more interested in getting money in than delivering service & I have to write my first exams in July Aug ! This is extremely frustrating !
The refund is also still outstanding.

No certificate after six weeks waiting
I was told exam results would be released on a certain date, and not to my suprise when i called intec on that date i was given the run around from 9 in the morning and only got my results at 3 in the afternoon when someone had to go and find my exam paper and read my results to me. I was told to wait at most 6 weeks until i received my certificate, well its been six weeks and i havent received anything. I am tired of wasting my calls and my time with intec, how much longer do I have to wait? seems like nobody checks on the progress of anything until a complaint is sent.

Stay far away from Intec College
Intec College are a bunch of liars and a bunch of thie ves!! They take your money. They don't send you your study material. They don't answer theirs phones. In order to get a refund, you need to provide your private and confidential bank statement to them?!?!?!?!?! The people on the call center (when you eventually get hold of someone) are COMPLETE m0r0ns!! This 'college' is a complete JOKE!
They aren't even bothered responding to these complaints.. Do yourself a favour - don't put yourself through this nonesense. Find another institute (a REPUTABLE one) to study with.. If you sign up with Intec, you're signing up for months and months worth of headaches. We have been waiting since Dec for study material. No one even bothers to let a person know what the status is, or what the hold up is.
Should the refund not be made by 18 March 2010, we will be handing this matter over to our attorneys to expedite the legal proceedings.
