The therapists at Decisions are fantastic--this is not about them. The management, however, is not good. While I was there, I heard the supervisor, Gene (or Jean) on the phone MOCKING me to my insurance company, while other patients walked past and heard it all too. She was describing my case history with comments like, "How dumb can you be?" and "We've got a lot of miles out of this one!" I also saw her stand behind a patient and flip the patient off while sticking her tongue out at her, to mock the patient. And this is a SUPERVISOR! I was routinely asked to back-date signatures, and doctors openly back-date charts of patients who aren't even there anymore, adding fake data to make charts appear complete before going to shelf. Yes, we patients saw all of this, and were often ASKED to assist! I heard the managers dismiss legitimate complaints by other patients by saying snidely, "Well, he's just a Bipolar" or "she's a Borderline, " using mental health diagnoses to justify devaluing us when we have concerns. The management would call someone "pathological" and then minutes later be sitting and laughing with them like buddies.

If you need counseling for anything that might embarrass you, DO NOT go here; the therapists and nurses care, but the management will mock you behind your back, laugh, and expose your personal information. I needed therapy for something I was ashamed of, and it shattered me to hear Gene/Jean and Jim making fun of it, laughing at me, and shaming me with their doors open and other patients listening! I burst into tears.

This was disgusting, but were they sorry? Nope! They turned ON ME to retaliate when I complained to the manager, Jim, and I was accused of complaining because "I must want money" from the company. Every decision was made based on what brought profit or defended the wealth of the company, even if it meant betrayal of patient care or disposing of good, skilled staff. The management will retaliate against patients and staff as scapegoats.
