We ordered this unit on the 6th May with a 14 day delivery - OK.
The order was scheduled for delivery last Thursday 30th May 2010 - so far so good, all the relevant phone calls made to arranage delivery - the delivery man arrived and told us no product on the van for us! Said he would call HB and tell them, since then I have been on the phone or rathe hanging on for 98 minutes and eventually today somebody has tried to help me. This is the most appalling customer service I have ever come across - I have run a call centre myself and would be ashamed of this sort of service. I have spent all this time and MONEY sorting out a Homebase mistake. One thing for sure is I will never buy from them again - if this happened to all their customers they would soon react. Even asked to speak to a supervisor and got cut off! I hope somebody senior from Homebase reads these comments and reacts but I am not holding my breath!
