i recieved a letter in the mail today stating that i won 2, 500, 000 dollars and to send them 20.00 dollars to processing fee and i will have my check in the mail in 2 weeks. it is signed and dated by carol walker. i automatically got on the internet and looked it up to see if this was a scam and it is a big SCAMMMMMMMMMM

I was sent a very official looking letter saying I won 2, 500.000 in cash and/or prizes, being as sickly as I have been over the past few months I figured what could sending a $20 money order hurt. I was actually excited when I received 2 more envelopes from them thinking it was the actual processing papers for my prize or something like that. No it was 2 more letters each more official looking than the next with a larger amount that I have supposedly won and guess what they want $20 each. How rude and obnoxious is that. These scams really need to end. They take advantage of people who are in need and willing to take chances when they are down and out. I could have used that $20 on a metro card to get to Dr's appointments. People do not fall for this.

i received a letter in the mail asking for $20 to process a check of $2, 500, 000 my first thoughts were another scam and i decided to look it up online thanks to all these complaints i see that it is very much a scam and it makes me so mad that there is nothing we can do about it they can some how get our names and addresses but all we have is a false piece of paper my letter didnt even have the postmark stamp across the the stamp on my letter so someone had to have dropped it in my mailbox other than the postman i am furiated and if there was anyway i could i would sue the people what is going to happen if a letter like this reaches someone with a heart problem and that person gets so excited that they literally have a heartattack with times like they are now and my family could really use this money its just a cruel joke!!!

They want you to send $20...ITS A SCAM!

I rec'd a letter saying I had won a big prize & they wanted $20 process fee..for a prize of $2, 500, 000.

They did not say who was awarding the prize, but said they represent many sweepstakes companies.

I am reporting it to NY Attorney General & want all who rec'd the same letter, to do the same. That is where the letter was from.

It is time these thieves are put away, behind bars. If they send this to 1000's of people, & half respond, look how much they are stealing?

They target Senior citizens & people in need.

They are parasites.
