I've been receiving very threatening phone calls from (206) 691-8250. This person claimed he was Officer Don Rogers with Financial Crimes Investigations and that a legal lawsuit has been placed against me. That this complaint has my name and social security number and that if I don't act on paying them back, they'd call my place of work, get me arrested and take me to court. He said that I took out an internet payday loan in the amount of $450.00 and when this payday loan company tried to electronically receive their funds, they were unable to do so. He then said that I could settle this out of court and pay $450.00 today or go to court and pay &7, 000-8, 000. His voice kept escalating and said that if I interrupted him and didn't let him finish I could get in more trouble with the authorities. My husband then got on the phone and told him that he can't do this, the process is all wrong. He then kept yelling, telling my husband not to interrupt and my husband said to go ahead and take us to court. He then hung up. He was very abusive verbally and threatening. I've never agreed to a internet payday loan of this amount, because I knew I could never pay it back. I reported this to my local police, and FTC and will continue to report to whom else that needs it reported to.
